Pest control and cleaning in DLF Phase 1
DLF Phase 1 is where DLF City started, and many of its plots now carry a house from the 1980s or a builder floor rebuilt on the same footprint, often sharing one terrace and one set of ageing lines. AHC treats termites and mosquitoes around those plots, deep cleans houses and floors, and cleans the sump and roof tanks that see the most strain in this part of Gurgaon.

The phase is mostly plots. What stands on each plot decides the job.
| Home | What it usually needs |
|---|---|
| Original plotted house, still one family | Termites where the lawn, planters or a wooden deck meet the wall; a sump plus a roof tank; garden mosquitoes after rain |
| Builder floor rebuilt on an old plot | One family per floor and one shared terrace with several tanks; new wardrobes and doors (worth a termite check before you move in); post-construction dust if the floor is fresh |
| Low-rise DLF apartment blocks | Cockroaches in kitchens and bathrooms, a kitchen deep clean before Diwali, a building tank shared with neighbours |
| Blocks A and E | The blocks reports name as worst hit by shortages, so tanks run low and get topped up more often |

Water in DLF Phase 1
Supply here travels through old pipe. Pipelines in DLF-1 were laid in the 1980s and are only four inches across, and shortages have been worst in the E and A blocks. In May 2024 GMDA named DLF Phases 1 and 2 among its poor-supply areas, and in June 2024 the Chief Minister directed at the Gurugram grievance meeting that DLF City Phase I's water problem be resolved within two months. A year earlier, DLF I, II and IV were on the list for a 30-hour shutdown while the Sector 16 pumping-station main was shut.
What that means for your tanks: when supply is thin, the sump runs low, gets topped up from tankers or a tubewell, and collects silt from each source. A tank that switches between water sources is worth cleaning every 3 to 4 months. Cleaning removes the silt, slime and sediment inside the tank; it won't change the supply, the pipe or the water's TDS.
Sumps are always cleaned by two technicians in our 9-step process. A sump up to 1,500 L costs ₹1,199 and up to 5,000 L ₹1,999; roof tanks start at ₹699, and one visit can cover every tank when one terrace holds four floors' tanks; 365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank. Rebuilt floors on old plots
Since Haryana allowed up to four floors over stilt parking on residential plots in 2019, many Phase 1 plots have gone from one house to four homes. That changes the work in three ways.
- Who owns the tank. Each floor usually has its own roof tank on the common terrace. Agree with the other floors and we can clean every tank in one visit; 365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank.
- New wood, old soil. Fresh wardrobes and door frames go into a building whose foundation sits on the same soil the old house did. A termite inspection before you move in costs nothing, and treatment for that floor is booked on the termite page for the phase.
- Dust after the builder leaves. A newly finished 3BHK floor with cement and paint dust is a post-construction clean, priced at the deep-clean rate plus 25%: ₹6,499 for a 3BHK. If the dust is light, a regular deep clean (₹5,199 for a 3BHK, empty or furnished) is enough.

Mosquito season in the old phase
In late July 2024, district health and MCG data reported suspected dengue cases from DLF Phase-1, along with Sushant Lok and Wazirabad. Low-lying houses in Phases 1 and 3 also took rainwater in July 2021. Plotted homes give mosquitoes plenty of room: lawns, planters, coolers on the roof, and terrace tanks whose lids no longer sit flat.
Our mosquito treatment for a 3BHK costs ₹1,899 including GST and covers the indoor resting spots and the breeding points around the house. For a lawn or garden, thermal fogging costs ₹1,199 a visit. Before the monsoon, check that the sump lid sits above the level water reaches in your driveway.
