Inside a tower, your flat is yours to book; the shafts, basements and society tanks are the maintenance agency's. Cockroaches cross that line, so a word to the facility desk when you book helps.

Water in DLF Phase 5

In May 2022, about 100 residents of Westend Heights reported diarrhoea and one child was hospitalised. Health department samples from the society's inlet and outlet were found unfit. GMDA said the water inside the society had a higher TDS than its own supply and suggested the problem could lie in the society's storage tanks, in mixing with borewell water, or in stored water not being disinfected; it directed RWAs and developers to disinfect stored water before supply. The cause wasn't confirmed.

What residents can take from it: in a tower, the water you drink has passed through the society's underground reservoir and the tower tanks, and those are cleaned by or for the maintenance agency. If you want them cleaned, the RWA or agency books it. AHC cleans society tanks and gives dated before-and-after photos for the record; a reservoir up to 30,000 L is ₹4,499 including GST, and larger ones are quoted after a visit.

In the plotted lanes, the sump and roof tank are yours. A roof tank up to 1,000 L costs ₹699, and a sump up to 5,000 L ₹1,999. A clean removes sediment, slime and stale water from the tank; it doesn't treat the supply or lower its TDS. Society tank cleaning in Gurugram →

Working inside a DLF condominium

Condominiums in Phase 5 run on rules, and a job goes smoothly when we know them before the day.

  • Tell us the tower and flat number when you book. We send the team's names and ID details to the facility desk so the gate pass is ready.
  • Work hours. If outside staff can only work in set hours, a 4BHK deep clean has to start at the beginning of that window.
  • Service lift. Machines, ladders and chemicals travel in the service lift; book it if your tower requires that.
  • Pest control inside, shafts outside. We treat your kitchen, bathrooms and ducts within the flat. If cockroaches keep coming back, ask the agency when the shafts were last treated.
  • Balconies. Bird nets or spikes that show on the facade usually need the society's say-so, so check with the RWA before booking netting.

Only the bathrooms need attention? Three are cleaned for ₹1,349 and four for ₹1,596. Each deep clean includes as many bedrooms, bathrooms and balconies as your BHK. Can you clean the water tank for my flat?
In most towers the reservoir and tower tanks belong to the society, so the RWA or maintenance agency has to book it. If your house is in the plotted lanes, the sump and roof tank are yours and we can clean them directly.

Can a 5BHK be deep cleaned in one day?
