PLOTTED HOUSES AND FLOORS · MALIBU TOWN, SECTOR 47, GURUGRAM (GURGAON)

Pest control and cleaning in Malibu Town

Malibu Town, spelt Malibu Towne on many addresses, is a private plotted colony in Sector 47 off Sohna Road, with independent houses, builder floors and its own small market. Its water has been short for years, so many houses mix piped supply with borewell and tanker water in the same sump, and that tank is usually our first job here.

Many homes in the colony have been here since the 1990s, so the jobs that matter most are the ones an older house quietly needs: the sump, the traps and the wood.

Water in Malibu Town

In May 2023 the Malibu Towne RWA told The Tribune that more than 10,000 residents had faced acute water shortages for two years, and that its request to MCG for an additional connection, made in August 2022, had gone nowhere. One resident said she had lived with the problem for five years and was spending ₹15,000 a month on tankers for drinking water. Listings for the colony also show borewells as a source.

So a typical Malibu Town sump holds three kinds of water in turn: municipal supply when it comes, borewell water when it doesn't, and tanker water when both fall short. Each leaves its own sediment, and they settle together.

  • Clean every 3 to 4 months while you are on mixed water. Once a year isn't enough here.
  • Clean the roof tank and the sump in the same visit. Cleaning only the roof tank sends the sump's silt straight back up; 365-plan members get ₹149 off the second tank.
  • Keep the sump lid tight and above ground level, so tanker spills and rainwater can't run in.

A clean tank won't bring more water or change what the borewell pumps up; it stops your own storage adding to the problem. See water tank cleaning across Gurugram for the 9-step method.

Since MCG took over

In May 2022 the state transferred nine private colonies to MCG, Malibu Towne among them, after assessing their infrastructure as deficient. Roads, parks, street drains and public-health services in the colony are now MCG's job.

That transfer stops at your gate. Here is what stays with each owner:

  • The sump and roof tanks, including how often they're cleaned.
  • Floor traps, inspection chambers and the drain line to the street. A cracked chamber inside the plot is the most common way cockroaches and rats reach a ground-floor kitchen.
  • The wood. Termites in a door frame are a homeowner's problem whoever runs the roads.
  • Pots, coolers and the garden. MCG's dengue teams check homes for larvae and can serve notices where they find them; the fix is yours.

If a street drain overflows or a park needs fogging, raise it with MCG through the RWA. Everything inside the boundary wall we can help with.

Gardens, parks and empty plots

Malibu Town is mostly low-rise homes with gardens, colony parks and the odd empty plot, which is good for mosquitoes in the monsoon. Sector 47, where the colony sits, was named in The Tribune's August 2025 list of waterlogged sectors, and nearby Subhash Chowk saw severe inundation from clogged micro-drains, according to a June 2026 Indian Express report.

Two kinds of treatment cover a house like this:

  • Inside the house: mosquito control treats the corners, curtains and spaces under furniture where adult mosquitoes rest, plus breeding spots in bathrooms and balconies. 2BHK ₹1,599, 3BHK ₹1,899.
  • Lawns, hedges and the space round the house: thermal fogging outdoors, ₹1,199 a visit. See fogging for Malibu Town lawns and parks.

Empty pot saucers and cooler trays every week between July and November; no treatment lasts if water keeps standing.

Malibu Town: your questions

Is it Malibu Town or Malibu Towne?
Both spellings are used for the same colony in Sector 47. Use whichever is on your address when you book.
We use tanker water most of the summer. How often should the tanks be cleaned?
Every 3 to 4 months while you are on tanker or borewell water, with the sump and roof tank done together.
Will a tank clean help with our water shortage?
No. Shortage is a supply issue for MCG and GMDA. A tank clean removes the sediment and biofilm stored in your tank so it isn't adding to the problem.
Can you fog the colony park?
We fog private and society grounds only. For a single house, we fog your lawn and the area around your house; for the colony's public parks, ask MCG through the RWA.
How soon can you reach Malibu Town?
Our teams come from New Delhi to the Sohna Road side; a booking before 12 pm is usually served the same day if a slot is open.
Malibu Towne mein borewell aur tanker ka paani milake aata hai, tank kitni baar saaf karwayein?
Har 3 se 4 mahine mein. Sump aur chhat ki tanki ek saath karwayein; 365 plan members ko doosri tanki par ₹149 kam lagte hain.
