How is appliance cleaning done?

We switch the appliance off, take out the removable trays, shelves and filters, wash them, degrease and wipe the inside and outside with food-safe cleaners, dry everything and fit it back. Please empty the fridge and the cabinets before we arrive; we never open motors or wiring (a chimney motor and duct service is booked separately).

    Cabinets, jars and appliances

    Cabinet exteriors, jar exteriors and appliance surfaces are wiped and cleaned; cabinet and appliance interiors too, if added.

    Sink and floor

    The sink, drain and grout are scrubbed, followed by a machine floor scrub.

Degreasing agents are used on tiles, cabinets and lofts rather than inside appliances, and jars are only wiped on the outside. Utensils are not handled by our team, so cabinets need to be emptied beforehand.

Why kitchens need their own deep clean

The kitchen collects grease faster than any other room, since cooking oil settles on tiles, the wall above the stove, cabinet tops and lofts over weeks of regular use. A general home deep clean covers the kitchen too, but a dedicated kitchen deep clean goes further into cabinet tops, lofts, jar exteriors and the chimney's outer hood.

For kitchens that are cleaned often and do not have heavy build-up, a lighter Kitchen Refresh option is available, while standard deep cleaning suits kitchens that have gone longer without a thorough scrub.

What gets cleaned, step by step

Degreasing covers cabinet exteriors, tiles, the wall above the stove, cabinet tops and lofts; cabinet interiors can be added once you empty them. Jar exteriors and appliance surfaces such as the fridge, microwave and oven outer casing are wiped down as part of the same visit.

The chimney's outer hood is cleaned, along with the sink, drain and grout, and the kitchen floor gets a machine scrub to finish. Large L-shaped or U-shaped kitchens take a little more time and are priced accordingly.

What to prepare and what is not covered

Since our team does not handle utensils, you need to empty cabinets, drawers and jars before the visit begins. This also helps the team degrease surfaces properly without working around stored items.

Washing utensils, chimney internal servicing, full wall washing beyond the kitchen, and cement or tile regrouting are not part of this service. If anything is missed, tell us within 24 hours with photos and we return to fix it at no charge.

Kitchen Refresh is a lighter clean meant for kitchens that are already reasonably maintained, while deep cleaning handles heavier grease and build-up.
Will you wash my utensils?
No, utensils need to be removed by you before the team starts, and washing them is not part of this service.
Does this include chimney servicing?
Only the chimney's outer hood is cleaned; internal chimney servicing is a separate job.
