Society and commercial water tank cleaning in Faridabad.
In a Greater Faridabad society, borewell water, tanker loads and, where the connection works, FMDA supply all end up in the same underground reservoir, and every tower drinks from it. The survey is free; the committee gets a single written price; tanks are done one at a time so supply carries on; and each tank ends up with its own dated photos.
- No charge for the survey
- One written price incl. GST
- Never one person in a reservoir

For a Faridabad society, factory, school, hospital or office, we look at every UGT and overhead tank on a free survey and then send one fixed price including GST. Any tank of 30,000 litres or less is charged from the size table below (₹699 to ₹4,499); bigger reservoirs, and overhead tanks over 5,000 litres, are priced individually. How a society job runs
- Free survey with your maintenance staff: each reservoir and tower tank, its size and access, and what feeds it (FMDA or MCF supply, borewell, tanker).
- One fixed quote including GST, listed tank by tank for the committee.
- A schedule that keeps water flowing: one reservoir compartment or a few towers at a time, with a notice to residents the day before.
Society tanks in Faridabad: what to know
Greater Faridabad, the belt of sectors east of the Agra Canal, has around 90 housing societies and more than 2 lakh residents, according to the residents' federation GREFA. In April 2024 GREFA said most societies had paid their water connection fees but only 20 to 25 actually received water, and that what arrived had high TDS. FMDA's executive engineer put it differently: 60 of the 90 had connections and about 40 were working. Either way, residents said many societies still depend on borewells.
It isn't a new problem. In 2023, 41 of 56 functional societies there relied on borewells or private suppliers, and the RWA of one large Sector 85 society reported TDS of 450 to 500 in its water, against a desired level of up to 150, while it waited 18 months for a connection. Water like that leaves white scale on reservoir walls; tankers add mud, and supply water adds silt.
So a Faridabad society on borewell or tanker water should clean its tanks every 3 to 4 months, and one on FMDA or MCF supply alone every 4 to 6 months. Cleaning removes scale, sludge and film and disinfects the tank; it doesn't lower TDS, which is a job for a treatment plant or RO.

When a society lives on tankers
Some Faridabad societies have bought their water for years. In September 2026 the Haryana State Human Rights Commission directed the authorities to give free tanker water to Achievers Society (Kalindi Hill) in Sector 49, where about 500 families had relied on privately bought water for some 20 years, until a regular supply is arranged.
Tanker water comes from many sources. Down To Earth found tankers in the city ranging from 1,000 to 24,000 litres, and in one village on the city's edge about 25 tubewells running round the clock to fill them. Each load is different, and it's rarely tested on arrival. So note which inlet the tankers use, clean the reservoir they fill more often, and keep dated records residents can see.

| Factory or warehouse | Industrial sectors, IMT, Mathura Road | One or two large UGTs; roof tanks over the admin block and canteen | Weekly off day; gate pass; a record for audits |
| School or coaching institute | Most sectors | Several roof tanks and a sump | Summer or winter holidays, or Sundays |

The fire-fighting reserve is usually a separate compartment. We clean the domestic water compartments; fire tanks and tanks holding STP-treated flushing water are quoted at the survey.
What the committee gets after each clean
- Before-and-after photos of every tank, labelled by tower or block, compartment and date
- The disinfectant used, and a note that each tank was rinsed before it refilled
- What we noticed: a cracked manhole cover, a vent without mesh, seepage into a reservoir, a tanker inlet left open
- When each tank is next due, written down so a new committee inherits the schedule
- One GST invoice for the RWA, the factory or the maintenance agency
The record comes to you as a photo report on WhatsApp after every clean.
