Pest control and cleaning in Old Faridabad

Old Faridabad is where the city began in 1607, and its houses still sit shoulder to shoulder along lanes that hold water long after a downpour. We clean up after the rain, treat the termites in old door frames and the mosquitoes that follow standing water, and check the sump before you fill it again.

Old Faridabad homes: what we see

The old town has no sectors or blocks. Houses old and new, small and large, stand side by side, and the job depends on which kind you live in.

HomeWhere you find itWhat it usually needs
Older independent house in a lane or mohallaThrough the old town, Saini Mohalla among themTermite check on wooden frames and cupboards; cockroaches from old drain lines; a roof tank that hasn't been opened in years
Ground floor on a low laneLanes that held water in August 2026Sanitization and a deep clean once the water drains; sump inspection; mosquito treatment a week later
Rebuilt house with new floors on old wallsScattered between the older housesNew wardrobes against old damp walls (termite spot check); a roof tank for each floor

In an older house the gaps around drain pipes, floor traps and door frames have usually never been sealed, so cockroaches and rats keep using the same routes. A treatment works best when we also show you which gaps to close.

Water in Old Faridabad

Old Faridabad's taps run on the MCF network, fed through FMDA's bulk mains from Ranney wells on the Yamuna bed and from tubewells. Most houses store it in a roof tank, and many plotted houses also have a sump at ground level, which is the part of the system that sits lowest when a lane floods.

Groundwater here has been dropping for years: the Faridabad block's water table fell from 13.48 m to 23.65 m between 2008 and 2022, so a submersible top-up now pulls from deeper down than it used to.

How often to clean: every 6 months if the tank fills only from the MCF supply, every 3 to 4 months if you top up from a borewell or buy tanker water, and once more before refilling if floodwater ever reached the sump lid. A clean removes the silt, sludge and scale that settle inside the tank. It can't fix a leaking street pipe or change what the supply carries; for those, the MCF complaint line is the right call.

When the underpass fills: after-rain cleaning in Old Faridabad

The Old Faridabad railway underpass is one of the worst monsoon flood points in the city. On 7–8 August 2026 traffic police shut it with water 7 to 8 ft deep, a school bus and an SUV were caught in it, and water got inside homes in Old Faridabad. It had flooded after a two-day spell in August 2024 too, and the Old Faridabad crossing on Mathura Road was among the NH-19 waterlogging points named when FMDA began its survey in December 2024.

If water came into your house, do things in this order:

  1. Let it drain fully, then book sanitization of the floors and the lower part of the walls (₹1,499 for a 2BHK including GST).
  2. Have the sump opened before you run the pump. Silt gets in through ground-level lids; we clean it in 9 steps and send photos.
  3. Deep clean the rooms that got wet once floors are dry, so mud isn't spread around twice.
  4. Mattresses and sofas: we shampoo and extract what can be saved (a single mattress ₹349, a double ₹449), booked with the sanitization or deep clean. Cleaning isn't repair, and foam that soaked for a day may need replacing.
  5. Book mosquito treatment about a week later, when the pots, trays and cooler pans that collected water start breeding.

Saini Mohalla, the lanes and mosquitoes

In August 2024 a resident wrote to The Tribune that a lane in Saini Mohalla had been under water for almost a month because the sewer was choked and drainage was poor, and called it a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Repeated complaints, the letter said, had brought no relief.

We can't drain a public lane; that is MCF's job. What we can do is keep the mosquitoes from settling inside your house. Our mosquito treatment targets the places they rest and breed at home: under beds and furniture, behind curtains, cooler pans, flower pots, the roof and any courtyard drain. If your house has a closed courtyard or a terrace garden, thermal fogging (₹1,199 a visit) knocks down adult mosquitoes outdoors; it kills the ones it reaches but doesn't stop breeding, so remove standing water first.

Old Faridabad: your questions

Do you cover Saini Mohalla and the lanes near the railway line?
Yes. We cover the whole old town, its lanes and mohallas, including the houses around the Old Faridabad metro station. Send a landmark with your booking so the team finds you quickly.
Water came into our ground floor in the rain. What should we book first?
Sanitization once the water has drained, then a sump inspection before you run the pump, then a deep clean when the floors are dry. Mosquito treatment comes about a week later.
How soon can you reach Old Faridabad?
Book before 12 pm and we can usually come the same day, 8 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. Teams come from our New Delhi office, across the Badarpur border and down Mathura Road; on days the underpass is shut they take another route, so allow a wider time window.
Our house is very old. Is termite treatment worth it?
If you see mud tubes on walls or hollow-sounding frames, yes. We drill and treat along the walls and wooden fittings, with a written warranty of 1 year, 2 years or up to 3 years* depending on the tier.
Can you fog our whole gali?
Public lanes are MCF's to treat. We treat your home, roof and any courtyard you own, and fogging works best after standing water has been cleared.
Purane ghar ki tanki kitne time baad saaf karwani chahiye?
Sirf MCF ka paani aata hai to har 6 mahine mein. Borewell ya tanker ka paani milata hai to har 3 se 4 mahine mein, aur baarish ka paani sump tak pahunch jaaye to dobara bharne se pehle.
