Pest control and cleaning in Ashoka Enclave

In Ashoka Enclave many families have a floor of a building rather than a whole house, often with their own roof tank, and some buildings have a borewell in the mix. AHC cleans and treats one floor or the whole building: regular cleaning, hard-water marks off the bathroom fittings, cockroaches that travel between floors, and the tanks up on the terrace.

Builder floors are the most common home in the listings here, a family on each level with a shared staircase and a terrace of tanks.

Living floor by floor

A builder floor shares more than a staircase. Drain stacks and wiring shafts run through every level, so cockroaches that start in one kitchen work their way up and down the building. Each floor usually has its own roof tank on the terrace, and the stairwell belongs to everyone and no one.

  1. Your floor, your booking. Any floor can book Home Refresh, a deep clean or pest control on its own, priced by its own size.
  2. Cockroaches: book the stack. If the floors above and below have them too, treating all of them on the same day keeps them from coming back through the shaft. General pest control comes with a free revisit if pests are still active after 2–4 weeks.
  3. Tanks: book the terrace. Every floor's roof tank can be cleaned on one visit, and 365-plan members get ₹149 off each tank after the first.
  4. The staircase: we can add the shared stairwell and terrace to one floor's booking if the building agrees; the final price is confirmed after the visit.

Water in Ashoka Enclave

Some buildings here mix FMDA's piped supply with a borewell; one listing for an Ashoka Enclave building in the Sector 37 part gives its water supply as "borewell". When FMDA shut its line 5 for 48 hours in May 2023, Ashoka Enclave was among the areas named, and residents were asked to store two days' water.

Borewell water tends to be hard, and it can leave white scale on taps, shower heads and glass, and sediment at the bottom of the roof tank. Two habits help:

  • Roof tanks every three to four months while borewell water goes in, about every six months on piped water alone. ₹699 up to 1,000 litres, ₹999 up to 2,000 litres, including GST.
  • Bathroom descaling with each deep clean, or on its own at ₹549 a bathroom.

We haven't seen test results for any Ashoka Enclave building, so we don't make claims about what's in the water. A tank clean removes sediment and disinfects the tank; it doesn't soften borewell water or change the supply.

Between Sarai and NHPC Chowk

Ashoka Enclave sits between two Violet Line stations, both opened on 6 September 2015: Sarai, in Sector 27D and the first stop in Haryana after Badarpur Border, and NHPC Chowk, in the DLF Industrial Area of Sector 32. For us that means a short run from our New Delhi office across the Badarpur border.

The same stretch of NH-19 is one of the highway's known waterlogging points: in December 2024 The Tribune listed Sarai metro station among the places where commuters wade through one to two feet of water and the roadside drains are clogged or unconnected. Stagnant water a few minutes from home can mean more mosquitoes after heavy rain, so book a mosquito treatment for the floor once the water stands (2BHK ₹1,599 including GST).

Homes on the Mathura Road side also live with highway dust; a deep clean of a furnished 2BHK floor is ₹4,199 including GST.

Services in Ashoka Enclave

Ashoka Enclave: your questions

Which sector is Ashoka Enclave in?
It spans more than one: Part I lies toward Sector 34, Part II toward Sector 37 and Part III in Sector 35, all off Mathura Road. Tell us your part and building and we'll find you.
The owner lives downstairs. Can we book just our floor?
Yes. Each floor is priced by its own size, and you don't need the owner to book work inside your home.
Our building runs on a borewell. How often should our roof tank be cleaned?
Every three to four months while borewell water goes in, or about every six months on piped supply alone.
Will the bathroom clean get the white marks off our taps?
Hard-water scale is removed from taps, shower heads, tiles and glass as part of the bathroom deep clean, ₹549 a bathroom including GST. Very old etching in glass or chrome may not come out fully.
How quickly can you get to Ashoka Enclave?
It's the first part of Faridabad after the Badarpur border, so a same-day visit is usually possible when you book before 12 pm.
Teen floor hain aur teeno ki alag tanki, ek hi din mein ho jayegi?
Haan, ek hi visit mein. Har tanki apne size ke rate par, GST ke saath; 365 plan members ko pehli ke baad har tanki par ₹149 kam.
