Pest control and cleaning in Greater Faridabad
Across the Agra Canal, most homes are society flats, and many societies still draw partly or wholly on borewells, and that changes how often the tanks need opening. We clean flats before move-in, treat the cockroaches that travel up the shafts, and clean society tanks on a schedule an RWA can show its members.

Greater Faridabad was planned as a sub-city: Sectors 66 to 74 for industry, 75 to 89 for homes. Within the residential sectors there are three kinds of home, and each starts from a different problem.
| Home | Where | What it usually needs |
|---|---|---|
| Group-housing society flat | About 90 societies across Sectors 75–89 | Cockroaches through kitchen and bathroom shafts; white scale on taps from borewell water; a deep clean at handover or tenant change |
| Flat in a newly handed-over tower | Societies still filling up | Cement and paint dust; an empty-flat clean plus pest control before furniture arrives |
| Plotted house or independent floor | Licensed plotted pockets in the belt | Own roof tank and often a sump; termite check before wardrobes go in; ants from open plots nearby |
| Ground-floor or garden-facing flat | Beside green belts and open plots | Mosquitoes and ants after rain; occasional rats from the green belt |
| Workshop or office | Industrial Sectors 66–74 | Scheduled office cleaning; rat and cockroach control around canteens |

2BHK homes are the biggest share of new supply in Faridabad, so most of our price examples here are for a 2BHK.

Water in Greater Faridabad
Piped water reached this belt late, and many societies are still waiting for it. In April 2024 the residents' federation, GREFA, counted about 90 societies and said only 20 to 25 received FMDA water, and that its TDS was high. FMDA's own figure was 60 societies connected, about 40 of them working. Residents said many still pump from borewells. A year earlier, in 2023, 41 of 56 functioning societies relied on borewells or private suppliers, and the RWA at one Sector 85 society reported TDS of 450 to 500.
In practice a society here runs on an underground tank (UGT) filled from FMDA, a borewell, tankers or a mix, pumped to overhead tanks on each tower. Hard borewell water leaves scale and fine sediment, and it builds faster than on piped supply.
How often to clean: every 3 to 4 months if any of the water comes from a borewell or tanker, every 6 months on FMDA water alone. Cleaning takes out the sludge, scale and silt that collect in the tank. It doesn't lower TDS or treat the water itself; that needs a treatment plant or RO, and a supply problem goes to FMDA.

Drains, green belts and mosquitoes across the canal
Sewage is the other gap residents keep raising. Sewage from the belt is meant to go to the treatment plant at Badshahpur village, but in 2024 a GREFA member said some was discharged midway and onto green belts. In February 2024 a resident of Indira Complex wrote that broken sewer lines had left lanes under sewage for weeks. In 2022, a Sector 85 resident wrote that roads waterlogged after every downpour.
Standing water and wet green belts next to tall buildings make for mosquitoes in the flats that face them, especially on lower floors. Inside a flat we treat the places mosquitoes rest and breed: balcony planters, AC trays, bathroom corners and behind furniture. For a society's lawns, basements and green edges, the RWA can book thermal or cold fogging, priced per sq ft. Fogging kills the adult mosquitoes it reaches; clearing standing water is what stops the next batch.

Flat, RWA or developer: who books what
In much of this belt the private developer still looks after the colony's roads, drains and parks. RWAs told The Tribune in February 2025 that amenities were incomplete and the completion certificate still hadn't been issued for the licensed area across Sectors 75 to 89; the Union housing ministry asked Haryana's planning department to act, and the developer said only amenity maintenance was pending. Until that settles, it helps to know who calls whom.
- Your flat: pest control, deep cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleans, sofa and mattress. You book these directly.
- The society's tanks, basements and lawns: the RWA or the facility team books tank cleaning and fogging. We give one quote, tank by tank, with dated photos for the committee.
- Roads, sewer lines and the water connection: the developer or FMDA. Cleaning can't fix a broken sewer; we can sanitise a flat or a lobby once a leak is repaired.
Tell the guard room your flat and tower when you book; the team's names reach the gate in advance.
