Pest control and cleaning in Sector 46

Sector 46 is a sector of cooperative apartment societies, from Indian Oil Apartment and State Bank Apartment to Leisure Valley, where the flat is yours and the tanks, stairs and gardens belong to the society. AHC works on both sides of that line: deep cleans and pest treatments booked by residents, and tank cleaning and common-area fogging booked by the managing committee.

Portals list these societies as ready to move and long lived in, which is why the jobs here are mostly about upkeep: grease that has built up over years, grout, old cabinets, upholstered furniture and the tanks.

Your flat, the committee's tanks: who books what

A cooperative society is run by its elected managing committee, and that sets who can book which job.

A tip for flats: cockroaches travel along the shared plumbing shaft, so when two or three neighbours on the same stack book on the same day, each flat stays clear longer. Ask your neighbours before you book.

A tip for committees: clean all the blocks' overhead tanks on the same day as the underground tank. Otherwise clean water from the UGT gets pumped into tanks that haven't been cleaned yet.

Water in Sector 46

We found no news report about water supply in Sector 46 itself, so this section is about storage, not quality. Each society holds its water in an underground tank and pumps it to overhead tanks on the blocks; the plotted houses have their own sump and roof tanks.

In Faridabad, FMDA runs the bulk water mains and MCF the local network, and The Tribune reported in April 2024 that over 1,000 private tankers operate in the city. A schedule that suits most society tanks:

  • Every six months when the society runs on municipal supply.
  • Every three to four months when tanker or borewell water goes in.
  • Before the summer peak, when tanks are drawn hardest.

Each clean comes with dated before-and-after photos per tank and the next due date, which is what a committee needs for its minutes. A clean removes sludge and disinfects the tank; it does nothing to the water the line delivers.

The Surajkund–Badkhal road side

Sector 46 sits toward the Aravalli side of Faridabad. Eicher School is at Plot 344 in the sector, and the road past Siddhdata Ashram links the Surajkund–Badkhal chowk to Sectors 21C and 46. In 2024 a resident wrote to The Tribune that this stretch had been cratered and potholed for over a year; whatever its state today, homes near a busy road collect fine dust on window tracks, grills and fans, so they tend to need a deep clean more often than homes deeper in the sector.

The greenery on this side can also bring mosquitoes after the rains. A Wildlife Institute of India survey, reported in 2017, recorded rhesus macaques, jackals and porcupines in the Faridabad Aravallis. If monkeys come onto balconies, keep tank lids shut and food out of reach; AHC doesn't catch or relocate monkeys.

Services in Sector 46

Sector 46: your questions

Our managing committee wants every tank done in one day. Can you?
Usually yes, with enough technicians for the number of tanks. Send the tank list and sizes; we quote tank by tank, and 365-plan members get ₹149 off each tank after the first.
I'm a tenant in a society flat. Can I book without the committee?
Yes, for anything inside your flat. Tell the society office the date so our team is let in at the gate.
Listings call our address "Mewla Maharajpur Sector 46". Do you cover it?
Yes, if the address is in Sector 46 (PIN 121010). Give us the society and flat number.
Does a deep clean cover the sofa?
The sofa is booked separately, at ₹199 a seat including GST with a three-seat minimum. Add it to the same visit to save a trip.
Can you fog the society garden before a function?
Yes, at dusk, from ₹2,499 for a society area. Fogging kills the adult mosquitoes it reaches; clear standing water too, or new ones will breed.
Society ki tanki committee saaf karwati hai, toh flat ke andar kya karwana chahiye?
Flat ke andar kitchen, bathroom aur sofa ki safai aur cockroach treatment aap khud book kar sakte hain. Tanki ke liye committee se baat kijiye; hum unhe ek fixed quote dete hain.
