Pest control and cleaning in Sector 21

A plotted house in 21B and a tower flat in 21D sit in the same sector but need different things: one has its own sump, stairs and terrace, the other has an RWA, a gate register and a society tank. AHC plans each Sector 21 job around which of the four sub-sectors you're in, from cockroach and rat treatment to a full deep clean.

Sector 21 homes: what we see

Sub-sectorHomesWhat they usually need
21APlotted houses; Asian Hospital on the Badkhal flyover roadFloor-by-floor pest control; rats at the sump and the drain outlet; a roof tank per floor
21BPlotted houses and builder floorsCockroach gel when a new kitchen goes in; deep clean between tenants
21CPlotted houses plus multi-storey societies, on the Aravalli sideFlat pest control booked under society rules; ants and cockroaches through shared shafts; sofa cleaning
21DSocieties and plotted houses toward Ankhir; GBN School at Plot 3Mosquito control after waterlogging; move-in deep cleans; flat-level rat checks near ground-floor gardens

In a plotted house, rats usually come up through the drain line and the gap around the sump lid, so bait stations go outside at those points. In a tower, they're rarer above the first floors, and cockroaches are the main complaint, travelling between flats along plumbing shafts and the garbage chute. One flat treated alone gets results; a whole floor treated together keeps them.

Water in Sector 21

Sector 21 runs on Faridabad's municipal water, from Ranney wells on the Yamuna bed and MCF tubewells, with private submersibles and tankers making up the gaps. How it's stored depends on the sub-sector:

  • Houses in 21A and 21B: an underground sump at ground level and a roof tank for each floor. Clean both about every six months on municipal water, every three to four months when a submersible or tankers supply part of it. Overhead tanks start at ₹699 and sumps at ₹1,199.
  • Societies in 21C and 21D: a society underground tank (UGT) and overhead tanks on each tower, which the RWA or facility team books. Your own flat has no tank to clean, but you can ask the facility desk for the last cleaning date.

We found no water-supply report naming Sector 21, so we make no claim about its water quality. A tank clean deals with sediment and growth inside the tank, not with the water that reaches it.

Working inside a 21C or 21D society

  • Gate first. Send the society, tower and flat number when you book; we share the technician's name and ID with the guard room the day before.
  • Work hours. A 2BHK deep clean takes 5 to 7 hours, so it starts in the morning to finish inside most societies' permitted hours.
  • Your flat or the society's? Inside your door is yours to book. Basements, the garbage room, shafts and lawns belong to the RWA; tell the facility office when you book pest control, because cockroaches and rats ignore that line.
  • Lift and water. We bring our own machines and need a working socket and water for cleaning.
  • Neighbours on one floor. If two or more flats in the same tower book the same day, ask about doing them back to back so treatments line up.

The Ankhir and Badkhal side

The southern edge of Sector 21 faces Ankhir Chowk, the Aravalli scrub and Badkhal Lake, where revival work has been under way. Three things follow for homes on this side.

  • Rain. On 7–8 August 2026 The Tribune listed Sectors 21C and 21D among the city's waterlogged stretches, and Badkhal Crossing was on the police list of rain trouble spots in 2023. Water that stands in podiums, planters and drains for days is where mosquitoes breed, so a mosquito treatment (2BHK ₹1,599) two weeks after a heavy spell is worth more than one during it.
  • Dust. FMDA's planned Badkhal elevated road, with its project report in the final stage in May 2026, will start near the Gymkhana Club and bypass Ankhir Chowk, and utility lines are already being shifted. Road works mean dust on balconies and window tracks, and a regular Home Refresh (2BHK ₹1,999) keeps it in check.
  • Monkeys. Aravalli-side sectors do see monkeys; a 2017 wildlife survey of the Faridabad Aravallis recorded rhesus macaques. AHC doesn't catch or remove monkeys, which is for the forest department or MCF. We can net balconies against birds (₹15–45 per sq ft, minimum ₹2,499) and clean up after an animal gets onto a terrace.

Services in Sector 21

Sector 21: your questions

Do you cover all four parts, 21A to 21D?
Yes. 21A and 21B are on PIN 121001, 21C and 21D on 121012 (many 21C addresses still use 121001). Tell us the sub-sector and whether it's a house or a society flat.
Will my society let your team in?
Usually, once the guard room has the technician's name and ID, which we send in advance. If your RWA has a vendor list or set hours, tell us when you book.
The basement of our tower has rats. Can you treat it?
The basement belongs to the society, so the RWA or facility team books it. We can quote them for the common areas and treat your flat on the same day.
There are monkeys near our balcony. Can you remove them?
No, AHC doesn't catch or relocate monkeys; that's for the forest department or MCF. We can net the balcony against birds and clean up after an animal has been on the terrace.
How long does a society flat deep clean take?
A 2BHK takes 5 to 7 hours with a team of two or three, so we start in the morning.
21C ke flat mein cockroach bahut hain, poore floor ka ek saath ho sakta hai?
Haan. Ek hi din mein do ya zyada flat book karein to hum ek ke baad ek kar dete hain, taaki cockroach ek flat se doosre mein na bhaagein. Har flat ka price uske size ke hisaab se hai.
