A 2024 Tribune report on Faridabad's building rules found many four-floor buildings standing on plots below the stated minimum size. On a Sector 15 plot, that usually means each floor books its own visit, at the price for its own size.

Water in Sector 15

Sector 15 draws on Faridabad's municipal supply, which comes from Ranney wells on the Yamuna riverbed and MCF tubewells. Most houses also run a submersible or buy a tanker in a dry week, store everything in an underground sump and pump it to a roof tank on each floor. We found no supply report specific to Sector 15, so the advice below follows the house:

Municipal water only: clean the roof tanks and the sump about every six months.
Submersible or tanker water in the mix: every three to four months, because sediment settles faster.
After the lane floods: once the road is dry, lift the sump lid and look for silt or a gap around the manhole rim. If you see either, book a sump clean with disinfection.

A tank clean removes what has settled inside the tank. It doesn't change the water that arrives in the pipe.

15A: living next to the market

Sector 15A is the commercial half of the sector: Neelam Chowk Ajronda metro station on Mathura Road, the Crown Plaza mall, the Jagannath Temple and rows of shops and food stalls. For the houses behind it, pests rarely begin at home. German cockroaches arrive in cartons and grocery sacks, and rats move along the drains from the food outlets to the nearest kitchen with an open floor trap.

Gel inside kitchen and bathroom cabinets, plus a spray along the drain line and the door that faces the lane.
A cap or mesh on every floor trap, and a brush strip under the main door.
Rat bait stations outside, where the lane meets your gate, instead of poison inside the house.
If the shop below is yours too, treat both on the same visit so the cockroaches can't simply move upstairs. Commercial pest control starts at ₹1–2 per sq ft per service (minimum 800 sq ft).

The Ajronda side next door also has small workshops among the homes: a 2023 report listed Ajronda among Faridabad localities with many manufacturing units outside industrial zones. A unit with a canteen or packing room keeps its own cockroach population going, so ask its owner to treat at the same time as you.

After the August 2026 rain

On 7–8 August 2026 the Faridabad block recorded 120 mm of rain in 24 hours, and The Tribune listed Sector 15 among more than 50 waterlogged stretches, alongside Neelam–BK Road. Ajronda Chowk on NH-19 is one of the highway points that floods year after year, so the roads into the sector often stay wet longer than the lanes inside it.

If water reached your gate, stilt or ground-floor rooms, book in this order:

Within the first week: sanitization of the ground floor and stilt (₹1,499 for a 2BHK) and a look inside the sump.
The week after: indoor mosquito treatment (₹1,599 for a 2BHK). Coolers, flowerpot trays and blocked roof drains keep water long after the lane dries.
Before the festive rush: a deep clean of the floor that got wet. Mattresses (₹349 single, ₹449 double) and sofas (₹199 a seat, minimum 3 seats) are cleaned separately if they soaked up damp. Add-ons and anything under ₹549 are booked with another service.
