Fogging service in Delhi (machhar fogging).

During Delhi's dengue season, roughly late August to November, MCD fogging teams work along roads, lanes and public spaces. Private lawns, kothi terraces, society parks, school grounds and office campuses are usually left to owners and RWAs, and that's where mosquitoes rest in the hedges and shade in the evening. In 2026, Delhi had recorded 695 dengue cases by 3 October, 286 of them in September, and municipal checkers had found breeding in about 1.89 lakh homes.

Thermal fogging suits the open spaces Delhi has a lot of: kothi lawns in Greater Kailash, Vasant Vihar and Defence Colony, bungalow gardens in New Delhi, terrace gardens on builder floors, the parks and basements of group housing societies in Dwarka, Rohini and Mayur Vihar, and farmhouses in Chhatarpur. Cold ULV fogging is for inside: clubhouses, gyms, offices, school classrooms and restaurant kitchens after closing, where a smoke-free mist is needed.

We fog in the early evening, when mosquitoes are moving and the air is calm, and reschedule in rain or strong wind, which carry the fog away. Neighbours and residents get notice, people and pets stay indoors with windows shut, and anyone with asthma stays away from the fogged side.
