GREATER KAILASH · GK-I, GK-II AND GK-III · PIN 110048

Pest control and cleaning in Greater Kailash

Greater Kailash has been building and rebuilding since the early 1960s, so one lane can hold a new stilt-plus-four builder floor beside a house that still has its first door frames. Both lean on a sump and a roof tank to bridge the gaps in piped supply, and both sit close to a busy market or the Jahanpanah forest edge.

Greater Kailash homes: what we see

GK-I came first, on land acquired in 1955 and developed by DDA and private developers; GK-II followed near the Outer Ring Road, and GK-III sits beside it, next to Greater Kailash metro. Blocks go by letter, and many original plots have been rebuilt as builder floors while others still hold the first house.

Home typeWhere in GKWhat it usually needs
Rebuilt builder floors (stilt plus four)All three parts, plot by plotOne sump feeding a tank per floor; cockroach treatment through the shared shafts; post-construction cleaning when a new floor is handed over
Older independent housesAcross GK-I and GK-II, where plots haven't been rebuiltTermite and wood borer checks in door frames, almirahs and panelling; sump and roof tank cleaned together
Homes behind the marketsAround the M and N Block markets in GK-I and the M Block market in GK-IIRat and cockroach control where homes, shops and restaurants share drains
Homes on the forest edgeBlocks near the Jahanpanah City Forest gate in GK-IIAnt and general pest control; mosquito control after rain
Marble-floored floors and housesCommon in GK's larger homesDeep cleaning with a pH-neutral cleaner on marble, never an acid, which etches the stone

Water in Greater Kailash

Piped water in and around Greater Kailash arrives in short windows. Delhi Jal Board's 2026 summer plan for the Greater Kailash constituency gives GK Enclave-I 6:00–7:30 am and 6:30–7:30 pm, lists it as a water-deficit area with a new water line due by 30 April 2026, and keeps tanker filling points in GK-I and GK-II. In January 2025, GK-II's RWA president told PTI that the water pipelines in GK-II are about 70 years old and that the system can disrupt supply in many areas for days. On 12 December 2025, Greater Kailash had no supply or low pressure from 10 am while DJB repaired a leak.

So GK houses and builder floors run on stored water: a sump fills during the supply window and a pump lifts it to the roof tanks. The sump does the heavy lifting, which is why it collects most of the sediment.

What we suggest: clean the sump and every roof tank on the plot together at least once a year, and again after a long break in supply or pipe work in your block. On a builder floor, agree one date with the other floors; 365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank in the same visit, and every household gets photos of its own tank. A clean clears the silt and slime inside your tanks. The pipes and supply hours are DJB's to fix.

Sixty years of woodwork, and the rebuilds

A GK house that hasn't been rebuilt may still have the door frames, built-in almirahs and wooden panelling it was given in the 1960s or 1970s. Termites work through that wood from the inside, and the first sign is often a hollow sound or a thin mud line up a frame. Wood borer leaves small round holes and fine powder below furniture. Both are worth an inspection before you spend on a deep clean or a repaint.

  • Termite treatment for a 3BHK runs from ₹5,399 with a 1-year warranty to ₹8,999 with a warranty of up to 3 years*; a 4BHK from ₹6,299 to ₹10,499.
  • Wood borer treatment starts at ₹1,499 per set of furniture.

When a plot is being rebuilt, the best moment for termite protection is before the floor slab is cast: ask us about pre-construction anti-termite treatment, priced per sq ft after a site visit.

Rebuilds touch the drains too. PTI quoted the GK-II RWA saying its equally old sewer lines cause drainage trouble in the monsoon, and DJB's 2026 plan lists W-Block GK-II for sewer-line replacement, due by 30 May 2026. Old floor traps and drain joints are a common way in for cockroaches and rats on ground floors.

The M Block market and the forest gate

The M Block market in GK-II is one of the largest sanitary-ware hubs in North India, so GK renovations often end with new taps, showers, basins and tiles, and a bathroom coated in cement haze. Our post-construction clean takes off that haze, paint drops, putty and stickers, cleaning every room ceiling to floor; fixing a leaking joint stays with your plumber. In GK-I, the M and N Block markets have shops, restaurants and bars, and homes behind them share drains and service lanes with those kitchens.

On the other side of the colony, Jahanpanah City Forest, about 435 acres looked after by MCD and DDA, has a gate in GK-II. AHC's office address is in Jahanpanah City Forest too, on LBS Marg.

Residents also told PTI in January 2025 about frequent monkey raids that damage property in GK. AHC doesn't catch or move monkeys. Keeping roof tank lids shut and locked, and balcony doors closed when food is out, are the simple steps that help.

Greater Kailash: your questions

Do you cover GK-I, GK-II and GK-III, including blocks like S and W?
Yes, all three parts and every block in them, on PIN 110048. Tell us the part and block when you book.
Four floors share one sump. Who should book the cleaning?
Any one household can book, but it works best when the floors agree on a date. We clean the sump and every floor's tank in one visit (365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank), and send each owner photos of their tank.
Our plot is being rebuilt. What should we do about termites?
Book pre-construction anti-termite treatment before the floor slab goes down. If the old house is still standing, an inspection first tells you whether termites are already in the woodwork.
Can you deal with the monkeys?
No. AHC doesn't catch or relocate monkeys; our work is insects, rodents, termites, cleaning and tanks.
How soon can you reach GK?
Book before 12 pm and we can usually come the same day if there's a free slot. A sump or a full-house deep clean is best booked a day ahead.
GK mein 4BHK ki deep cleaning kitne ki hai?
Furnished 4BHK ki deep cleaning ₹6,299 hai, GST ke saath. Khaali floor ka bhi yahi price hai, aur marble ke liye hum acid wale cleaner use nahi karte.
