Book before 12 pm and we can usually come the same day if a slot is free, 7 days a week from 8 am to 9 pm.Dwarka homes: what we see
DDA planned Dwarka in the 1980s and families began moving in during the early 2000s, so most buildings here date from the late 1990s and the 2000s: old enough for ducts and tanks to need attention, recent enough that layouts repeat from sector to sector.
| Home type | Where in Dwarka | What it usually needs |
|---|---|---|
| Co-operative group housing (CGHS) flats | Most sectors, from the four-storey blocks to multi-storey towers | Cockroach treatment that covers the kitchen and bathroom duct, a deep clean when a flat changes hands, tower tanks cleaned on the RWA's schedule |
| DDA flats in SFS and numbered pockets | For example Sector 22 (SFS Pocket 1) | Shared terrace tanks, older bathroom fittings with scale from mixed water, general pest control, with a free revisit if pests are still active after 2–4 weeks |
| Village homes | Kakrola, Bagdola, Dhulsiras, Barthal and Amberhai, beside the western and southern sectors | Their own rooftop tank and often a sump, mosquito checks in the monsoon where drains run open nearby |
| Homes near the storm-water ponds | Sectors 8, 20 and 23 | Mosquito control from July to November, balcony and pot-tray checks |
| Shops and offices on society commercial plots | Many sectors keep about a fifth of a plot for commercial use | Office cleaning and sanitization; cockroach control for food outlets |

Water in Dwarka
Delhi Jal Board took over Dwarka's water from DDA in 2015, once Munak Canal water reached the Dwarka treatment plant, but the plant still delivers roughly half of what the sub-city needs. The shortfall shows up every summer. In 2026 it started early: Newslaundry reported disruptions across Sectors 6 to 12 from March and April, with Sector 10 among the worst hit, some societies ordering five private tankers in a week and others asking residents to cut back.
Most societies store water in an underground reservoir and pump it up to a tank on each tower. One reservoir often serves two or three societies and can take ten hours or more to fill (Tribune, July 2024). When a reservoir takes DJB water one week, tanker water the next and borewell water in between, each source leaves its own silt on the same floor.
What that means for cleaning: plan the reservoir and the tower tanks for after the heavy tanker weeks of May and June, and again once the monsoon is over. A clean takes out the settled silt and slime and gives the committee dated photos. It can't add water or change what arrives in the pipe or the tanker, and supply problems remain a matter for DJB (tankers on request at 1916).
For reservoir sizes, timings and the photo report RWAs ask for, read water tank cleaning in Dwarka. Committees managing several towers can also see society tank cleaning in Delhi.

Monsoon in Dwarka
Dwarka sits right beside IGI Airport, and part of the airport's storm water runs through the sub-city. The Airport Drain (LG Delhi, December 2022) carries it under the railway line at Sector 8 into a DDA trunk drain and on to the Najafgarh Drain. Along the way, five water bodies hold 1.22 lakh cubic metres of rain: three in Sector 8, one in Sector 20 and one in Sector 23.
Waterlogging is still a yearly complaint here. In August 2025 residents pointed to spots outside the Sector 14 metro gate and to open drains in village pockets such as Sector 19.
For a flat, the practical list is short. From July, empty pot trays, cooler pans and AC drip buckets every week; ground and first-floor flats facing a green belt or one of the ponds should book mosquito control before the dengue months rather than after. Ants and lizards come indoors when the lawns flood, and a single general pest visit deals with both; give it 2–4 weeks to work, and if they're still active after that, we revisit free.

Booking inside a Dwarka society
Dwarka's societies are run by elected managing committees, and each one sets its own rules for outside workers. When you book, give us the society name, tower and flat number. We send the team's names to the gate or facility desk a day ahead and keep to the society's permitted work hours.
For anything in a common area (the reservoir, tower tanks, basements, the society park) the committee books and signs off, not a single resident. We start with a free survey and give one fixed quote including GST for every tank. When flats in a society join a 365 plan, the 10% Society 365 discount applies from the 10th flat that joins (Society Plans).
