Quick answer

AHC cleans the underground reservoirs and overhead tanks of group housing societies, DDA apartment blocks, schools, hospitals, offices and restaurants across Delhi. After a free survey, the RWA or facility manager gets one fixed quote including GST: tanks of up to 30,000 litres follow our size table, from ₹699 to ₹4,499 a tank (365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank in the same visit), and larger reservoirs are quoted. We work with societies in Dwarka, Rohini, Mayur Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Janakpuri and across Delhi.

Example, a Dwarka-style CGHS society: six towers, each with two 5,000-litre overhead tanks, and two 25,000-litre underground reservoirs: 12 × ₹1,499 + 2 × ₹4,499 = ₹26,986 including GST. For 365-plan members, ₹149 off each of the 13 tanks after the first (₹1,937) makes it ₹25,049. Source: AHC price book, 6 Oct 2026.

How it works

  1. Free survey with your maintenance staff: every reservoir and overhead tank, its capacity, access, the pump schedule and the water sources (DJB, tanker, borewell).
  2. One fixed quote including GST, tank by tank, for the committee to approve.
  3. A cleaning schedule worked around DJB supply hours: one reservoir or a few towers' tanks at a time, residents told by the RWA a day ahead.
  4. A photo record per tank, with the date and the next due date.

Society tanks in Delhi: what to know

Delhi's cooperative group housing societies, built mostly from the 1980s to the 2000s in Dwarka, Rohini, Patparganj, Mayur Vihar and Vasant Kunj, take water from the Delhi Jal Board through a bulk connection into the society's own underground reservoirs, and the society pumps it up to the overhead tanks on each tower. Inside the boundary wall, the tanks and pipes are the society's responsibility, not DJB's.

Many of these societies don't run on DJB water alone. In Dwarka, residents told ThePrint in September 2026 that piped supply to one society had dropped to 10 to 20 minutes a day, and that some societies spend lakhs of rupees a month on private tankers; a DJB engineer said the area receives about 50 MGD and needs at least another 50. Tanker water varies with every load and often brings mud, and borewell water in most of Delhi is brackish. All of it ends up in the same reservoirs, which is why a Delhi society reservoir usually needs cleaning more often than the DJB-only guidance suggests: every 4 to 6 months, and after a long spell on tankers.

For the committee, the harder part is proof. Residents ask when the tanks were last cleaned, and the answer should be a dated photo of each tank, not a line in the minutes.

Sources: ThePrint, "Dwarka, Delhi's middle-class dream" (4 Sep 2026): supply cut to 10–20 minutes a day in one society, tanker spending, 50 MGD received and at least 50 MGD more needed; CGWB Ground Water Year Book 2021-22, as reported by The Pioneer (2023).

What the committee gets after every clean

  • Before-and-after photos of each tank, labelled by tower and tank, with the date
  • The disinfectant used, and confirmation that each tank was rinsed before refilling
  • Anything we noticed: a cracked cover, a missing lid, a leaking valve, a mesh missing on a vent pipe
  • The next due date for each tank, so the schedule doesn't depend on who is on the committee this year
  • One GST invoice for the society

The photo report comes to the committee on WhatsApp after every clean.

Restaurants, schools, hospitals and offices

Food businesses are expected to keep their stored water clean and to keep records of cleaning; FSSAI's hygiene requirements also call for periodic water testing at an accredited lab. We clean the tanks and give you the dated record; the water test is done by the lab. Schools can book in the summer and winter holidays, hospitals one tank at a time so water never stops, and offices on a weekend.
