Fogging in Ghaziabad: what to know

Ghaziabad's dengue season runs late. In 2025 the district had 178 cases by 7 October and 271 by 2 November, and the health department announced daily evening fogging for 15 days as cases kept coming. In 2026 the count was low by mid-September, 21 confirmed cases, but inspectors had found mosquito larvae at about 2,000 places in the two months before. With the 2025 count still climbing in November, a quiet September is no reason to stop.

Adults rest in shade and damp. In the Trans-Hindon societies of Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Kaushambi, that's the park, the hedge along the boundary wall and open-sided basement parking. In Raj Nagar Extension, Crossings Republik and Siddharth Vihar it's the landscaped podium and planters. In Kavi Nagar and Raj Nagar houses it's the lawn and the terrace garden. Drains matter everywhere: after the August 2026 rain, debris had blocked drains in Govindpuram.

Dusk is when we fog: mosquitoes are flying and the air has gone still. Rain or a strong breeze means a new slot. The day before, residents are told; on the day, windows facing the fog stay closed and anyone with asthma stays clear.

When the health department writes to your AOA

In 2026, when a dengue case is found in a Ghaziabad society, health teams survey the premises and spray, and the AOA president gets a letter about cleanliness; the department has said societies will get notices if cases rise. Its advice to residents includes keeping water tanks covered and cleaning coolers. Fogging is one part of the reply. A week's plan for an AOA looks like this:

  1. Find the breeding. Basement sumps and drains, the podium's water features, rooftop tanks with loose lids, construction debris, flowerpot trays in common areas. Water that can't be emptied needs larvicide, which is part of mosquito control (Mosquito Control in Ghaziabad).
  2. Fog the outdoor resting places. Thermal fog along the park, hedges, the boundary wall, drains and open parking, in the early evening.
  3. Mist the indoor common areas. Cold ULV in the clubhouse, gym, lobbies and lift areas, before they open.
  4. Tell the residents. A notice the day before, and a reminder to empty coolers, pot trays and AC trays every week.
  5. Keep the record. Photos and a visit note on WhatsApp for the AOA's file.

In season, plan regular rounds. Our RWA Common Area Care plan has weekly fogging from July to October, and when ten or more flats in a society take a 365 plan, the common areas get one fogging a quarter at no cost (Society Plans).

Factories, warehouses and offices in Sahibabad

Sahibabad Industrial Area has about 1,400 units, Sahibabad is on the health department's list of dengue-sensitive areas, and the Bulandshahr Road industrial area was named in the 2025 season too. Factory compounds breed and shelter mosquitoes in scrap and pallet yards that hold rain, open drains, cooling-water tanks and the shade under stock.

  • Yards, drains and compound edges: thermal fogging, after the shift or in the early evening.
  • Canteens, offices, stores and packing halls: cold ULV when they're empty, with food and packed goods covered or moved.

We measure free, price per sq ft in writing, and send photos for your safety file. For flies and crawling pests in a canteen, add pest control for commercial sites (Commercial).

Fogging in Ghaziabad: your questions

How much does fogging cost in Ghaziabad?
₹1,199 per visit for thermal on a home's lawn or terrace; ₹999 for cold ULV in a 1–2BHK; both including GST. Society and site work is ₹1–2 per sq ft for thermal, minimum ₹2,499.
Our AOA got a letter about a dengue case. Is fogging enough?
No. Fogging kills adult mosquitoes in the air; larvae in sumps, drains and coolers keep hatching. Find and treat the breeding too, and fog the common areas alongside it.
The municipal team fogs our road. Do we still need this?
Their rounds may not reach inside your compound. Society parks, basements, house lawns and factory compounds are usually for the AOA or owner to arrange.
Ghaziabad mein machhar fogging kab tak karwani chahiye?
Yahan dengue ke case November tak badhte rehte hain. Season mein har ek-do hafte, shaam ko jab hawa na chal rahi ho. Saath hi har hafte cooler, gamlon ki plate aur AC tray khaali karte rahein.
