Raj Nagar Extension homes: what we see

Raj Nagar Extension grew north of Raj Nagar along the Hindon as private builders put up high-rise societies under the GDA master plan. The municipal corporation runs it as part of its City Zone. The Hindon elevated road links it to UP Gate on the Delhi border, and Meerut Road runs along the other side.

New keys or a tower you've lived in for years

If you've just got the keys, the order matters. Clean first, while the flat is empty and every cabinet, loft and window track can be reached; then pest control before the cartons arrive, because cockroaches often travel in with the move; then the roof tank or flat tank before the first glass of water. If your own interior work left thick cement or paint on the floors, the clean is priced 25% higher, and we confirm that from photos before the visit. Many Ghaziabad flats are occupied before the builder's final handover, so ask the maintenance office whether the society tanks have been cleaned since the tower was finished.

If you've lived here for years, the jobs change. Cockroaches settle into the shafts between flats and can keep coming back unless neighbours treat in the same week. Dust and grease build up in the kitchen. And the society's tanks, which you never see, need cleaning on a schedule the AOA should be able to show you.

Water in Raj Nagar Extension

RNE societies draw on municipal supply and, in many cases, their own borewells, storing the water in underground or ground-level tanks and in tanks on each tower. In November 2022, residents of one Raj Nagar Extension society found a dead snake and a dead frog in their ground-floor water tank. They said the tank lids weren't locked and that children had been falling ill for months.

The fix for that kind of failure is simple and cheap: lids that close and lock, and tanks cleaned on a fixed schedule. The district health department asks societies to clean overhead tanks every six months; the ground tank deserves the same.

What we do in an RNE tank clean: drain, remove sludge, scrub walls and floor, rinse, disinfect, refill, and send you photos of the inside before and after. A society sump of up to 1,500 litres costs ₹1,199, larger reservoirs are priced by volume up to ₹4,499 for 30,000 litres, and 365-plan members get ₹149 off each extra tank in the same visit, all including GST. A clean deals with what is inside the tank; it can't change what the borewell or main sends in.

Along the Hindon: floods, monkeys and balconies

RNE's edge is the river. In July 2023 the Hindon's flow rose by 10,575 cusecs in 48 hours, areas near Raj Nagar Extension flooded, and about 1,000 people were moved on 22 July. In August 2026 water stood along Meerut Road at the Raj Nagar Extension crossing after heavy rain. In October 2025 new dengue cases were found in Raj Nagar Extension.

In September 2026 a resident of an RNE society was bitten by a troop of four or five monkeys near a school in the RDC area and needed 11 stitches; he said his society had many monkeys and stray dogs. AHC doesn't catch monkeys; that's for the forest department and the municipal corporation. What we can do is close the balcony: netting that keeps pigeons out, or a heavier mesh against monkeys quoted after a free visit, fitted once your AOA approves the change to the facade.

After a flood or a week of rain, book mosquito control, check ground-tank lids, and clean any tank that took in surface water before you use it.

Raj Nagar Extension: your questions

We got our keys last week. What do we book first?
The deep clean, while the flat is empty. Then pest control before the furniture, and the tank before you drink the water. The Move-in Ready Pack does all three for ₹4,999 for a 2BHK, including GST.
Do you catch monkeys?
No. Monkeys are handled by the forest department and the municipal corporation. We can fit balcony netting or mesh once your AOA approves it.
Our society found something in a tank once. How often should tanks be cleaned?
Every six months for overhead tanks, the district health department's rule for societies, and we suggest the same for the ground tank. Locked lids matter as much as the clean.
Is this the same as Raj Nagar?
No. Raj Nagar is the older colony of sectors and houses to the south; Raj Nagar Extension is the high-rise belt along the Hindon. We cover both, and each has its own page.
How soon can you reach Raj Nagar Extension?
If you book before 12 pm, usually the same day. A full empty-flat clean takes 4 to 6 hours, so it needs a morning start.
RNE mein naye flat ki safai aur pest control ek hi din ho sakta hai?
Haan. Pehle khaali flat ki deep cleaning, phir usi din pest control aur tanki. Move-in Ready Pack 2BHK ke liye ₹4,999 ka hai, GST ke saath.
