Crossings Republik homes: what we see

Land for the township was put together between 2004 and 2009 on NH-24, the Delhi–Meerut Expressway side of Ghaziabad. Hafeez Contractor did the architecture, and groups including Gaursons, Mahagun, Panchsheel, Supertech, Assotech and Paramount built the towers. The post office sits in the Galleria Market, and Gaur Chowk is a well-known landmark. For the municipal corporation it's part of the Vijay Nagar Zone, along with Vijay Nagar and Siddharth Vihar, not the Indirapuram side.

After the basement floods

Two monsoons in a row have put water into Crossings Republik's basements. On the night of 31 July 2025 a society's basement floor caved in about 15 feet in heavy rain and four vehicles fell in; a JCB pulled them out. Then, between 7 and 9 July 2026, water filled the basements of most of the township's societies. A resident told Amar Ujala the drains hadn't been cleaned, so water overflowed into the basements; pumps were set up only after residents protested.

Most residents only see the cars. The bigger question may sit next to them: in some towers the underground tank and the pump room are at or beside the basement level. Once the water is pumped out, here is what we suggest, in this order:

Ask the AOA or maintenance office whether water reached the tank manholes or the pump room. If it did, the supply shouldn't be trusted until the tank is checked.
Drain, desludge, scrub and disinfect the underground tank, then the overhead tanks on each tower that it feeds. Our 9-step clean ends with before and after photos for the AOA's records. Underground tanks always take two technicians and three hours or more each.
Mosquito control on the lower floors for as long as water stands in the parking or the lift pits.
Sanitization of lift lobbies and basement entrances if they took in drain water.

A tank clean deals with what has settled inside the tank and leaves it disinfected. It doesn't repair a drain, a pump or a cracked basement wall.

If cockroaches keep coming back from the shafts, the fix is a building one: ask the AOA to book the floors above and below in the same week, so they can't just move next door.

Water in Crossings Republik

Societies here store water in an underground tank and pump it up to overhead tanks on each tower, and many also run their own borewell. We haven't found any published report on supply or water quality naming Crossings Republik, so this page won't make claims about either. What's on record is the flooding above.

For tank timing, the Ghaziabad health department asks societies to clean overhead tanks every six months, and the underground tank deserves the same schedule. After any monsoon in which the basement took water, bring the next clean forward.

As Ghaziabad. The township runs toward Greater Noida, but it's in the Ghaziabad municipal corporation's Vijay Nagar Zone with its own post office, PIN 201016. Prices are the same either way.

Water reached our basement in July. Is our society's tank safe to use?

Ask your maintenance office whether water got near the tank manholes or the pump room. If it did, have the underground tank drained, scrubbed and disinfected before anyone trusts the supply, and then the tower tanks it feeds.

Our society is near Gaur Chowk. Do you come to that side of the township?
