Pest control and cleaning in Govindpuram
When NDRF Road and B and C Blocks go under water, the mess doesn't stop at the gate: mosquitoes breed in what's left, sumps take in muddy water and ground floors need a proper clean. AHC handles all three for Govindpuram houses and the flats in its tower society, at one fixed price including GST.

Quick answer
AHC covers all of Govindpuram, PIN 201013, including B and C Blocks and the Karpuripuram side. Mosquito control costs ₹1,599 for a 2BHK, a sump of up to 3,000 litres is cleaned for ₹1,499, and a deep clean of a furnished 2BHK is ₹4,199, all including GST. Book before 12 pm and a same-day visit is usually possible. In the monsoon, book the sump clean once the water has gone down, and mosquito control straight after.Monsoon on NDRF Road, and what it leaves behind
The 2026 monsoon hit Govindpuram early and often. On 7 July, the first rain of the season, the colony was waterlogged and Jalkal set up pumps here. The next day about a foot of water covered roughly 250 metres of NDRF Road near Karpuripuram, and two-wheelers went down in potholes they couldn't see. B and C Blocks were waterlogged again on 7 August and on 5 September, and in late August the colony's drains were reported blocked with debris.
What to do when the water goes down, in this order:
- Sump first. If street water reached the sump lid, it may have got in. Empty, scrub and disinfect it before the motor fills your roof tank again.
- Mosquitoes next. Puddles, choked drains and anything holding water breed mosquitoes within a week.
- Then the house. Ground floors and stairwells hold mud, damp and smell. A deep clean scrubs floors, bathrooms and the kitchen properly.

Coolers, larvae and the survey teams
In July 2024 the health department's door-to-door survey found mosquito larvae at 55 places across Govindpuram, Sanjay Nagar and Vijay Nagar. In Govindpuram's B and C Blocks they were in coolers; in high-rise societies they were mostly in flower pots. Owners were warned that a repeat find after 15 days would bring a notice. New dengue cases were reported in Govindpuram on 7 October 2025.
A cooler that sits with water for a week is the commonest breeding spot in a house like these. Drain and dry it weekly, or stop using it when the weather turns. Mosquito control from AHC treats the places you can't empty: drains, the space under sinks and plant trays, balcony corners and the dark spots where adults rest. For a 2BHK it costs ₹1,599 including GST.

Water in Govindpuram
Houses here take the municipal corporation's Jalkal supply, usually into a ground-level sump, and a motor lifts it to the roof tank. That makes the sump the part most exposed when streets flood.
In the tower society, the worry is sewage. In July 2026, Panchsheel Primrose residents said sewage had overflowed behind Tower 11 again, something they said happens almost every other day. The maintenance team blamed the full municipal sewage treatment plant in Govindpuram, and GDA inspected. The society's basement also flooded in the July rains.
When sewage or floodwater stands near an underground tank, ask the society to check the tank's lid, vent and overflow, and to clean and disinfect it once the water clears. For your own house, clean the sump after any flood and the roof tank every six months. Cleaning removes silt and germs from the tank; it can't change what comes through the pipe.

Society flats: who approves the visit
Panchsheel Primrose's AOA term ended on 24 June 2026 and its election was still pending in July, and the builder hadn't fully handed over. Until that settles, the person who signs off a contractor at the gate may be the builder's maintenance office or the AOA. When you book, tell us which desk to message and we'll send the team's names and ID details ahead of the visit.
