PEST CONTROL, CLEANING AND TANKS · MOHAN NAGAR, GHAZIABAD
Pest control and cleaning in Mohan Nagar
Societies off GT Road such as Parshwanath Paradise have been lived in since about 2002, and in older towers the shafts, tanks and drain lines show their age. AHC treats cockroaches that use those old shafts, cleans tanks on a fixed schedule and deep-cleans flats that have seen a lot of years, by Mohan Nagar and Arthala metro stations.

Older societies off GT Road
Parshwanath Paradise residents say they have used a route through the mall land to GT Road since 2002. In September 2026 they protested: their society's sewer line runs through MMX Mall's premises and joins the main sewer through a pump, and they want the sewer problem fixed for good and a five-metre exit to GT Road.
Older societies tend to show their age in the same places:
- Cockroaches in shafts. Kitchen and bathroom shafts that have been open for two decades link every flat in a stack. Treating one flat helps; telling the maintenance desk so the shaft and basement are treated as well helps more.
- Tanks with years of sediment. Older underground and overhead tanks collect silt in corners and around old fittings. A six-month schedule keeps on top of it; the district health department asks societies to clean overhead tanks every six months.
- Drains and sewer pumps. When a pumped sewer line backs up, the smell and the flies arrive first. Keep floor traps covered and report backups to the society quickly.

Water in Mohan Nagar, and the four new reservoirs
Mohan Nagar runs on the municipal corporation's Jalkal supply, mostly from tubewells, stored in society UGTs or house sumps and pumped to roof tanks. In October 2026, Mayor Sunita Dayal announced four new underground water reservoirs for the Mohan Nagar zone: at Mohan Nagar, Shalimar Garden, Bridge Vihar and Shivpuri. They'll be linked to the supply network to hold water for peak hours and short outages, and about 20,000 people are expected to benefit. No completion date was given.
What that changes for you: more water held in reserve when demand peaks. What it doesn't change: the state of the tank on your roof or in your society's basement. Water that sits in a dirty tank picks up its sludge, whatever the reservoir upstream. Keep cleaning your own tanks every six months; a tank clean removes deposits and disinfects, and doesn't alter the supply itself.

A zone with an industrial name
Mohan Nagar takes its name from the Mohan Nagar Industrial Estate, developed in 1949 by the Mohan group. Today Mohan Nagar is also the name of one of the five zones the municipal corporation runs Ghaziabad by, and of a Red Line metro station, with Arthala the next stop. If you're booking for a flat near the stations, name your society and the nearest one; it helps the team find you on the first try.
Dengue reaches here too: a new case was reported in Mohan Nagar on 7 October 2025. Mosquito control (₹1,599 for a 2BHK) treats the breeding and resting spots inside a flat; the society's grounds can be fogged as a separate job.
