Sector 44 is a gated sector of large plotted houses, from C block to the road that runs from Gate No. 10 to MP3 Marg, and in July 2025 its residents told Amar Ujala about sewers overflowing into rainwater and a high-TDS supply. Those two problems shape most of what a house here needs: drain-side pest treatment and mosquito control in the monsoon, and tanks cleaned more often than the usual twice a year.

Water in Sector 44
At the July 2025 residents' meeting, a resident said the sector's Ganga water supply was incomplete and its TDS high, and worried about the risk of disease. That fits the city-wide figures Amar Ujala reported in September 2025: Ganga water runs at a TDS of about 100, while tubewell water in some areas tops 1,500, and Noida's pipes carry a blend of the two.
For your tanks, harder water means more scale and sediment, faster. If your house runs partly on tubewell water, plan to clean the roof tank and sump every 3 to 6 months instead of every 6.

When the drains back up
Residents at the same meeting described the monsoon problem in detail. Sewers overflow and the sewage mixes with rainwater, bringing a smell and a risk of infection. Cleaning happens at the blocked spot while the outflow further on stays shut. And because the drains aren't interconnected, water from outside runs into the sector.
We can't clear a public sewer; that's the Noida Authority's network, and residents have taken it up with them. What we can do is deal with what the backflow brings to your house.
- Cockroaches come up through floor traps and courtyard drains when sewers fill. We treat the drain points, the kitchen and the bathrooms, and put gel into the gaps they use.
- Small flies over bathroom drains breed in the slime inside the drain. A bathroom deep clean scrubs the drain covers and traps; pest control then deals with the adults.
- Mosquitoes breed in water left standing after rain. Mosquito control treats breeding and resting spots in and around the house.
