Gaur City and Gaur City 2 together cover about 237 acres; the developer planned to hand over more than 9,000 flats between July 2014 and August 2015. Many of those flats are now a decade old.

Water in Noida Extension: what your AOA should be doing

GNIDA supplies water up to each society's reservoir. From there, the AOA or the builder's maintenance agency stores it, pumps it and decides when the tanks get cleaned. Three local cases show why that schedule matters:

  • Supertech Ecovillage 2, Sector 16B, September 2024. Of 339 residents tested, 330 had stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea. Reports found traces of E. coli and bleaching powder, residents had linked the illness to a recently cleaned tank, and the District Magistrate later told the National Green Tribunal the cause was leftover bleaching powder. The lesson: a clean must end with a thorough rinse and flush before supply is restored.
  • Ajnara Homes, Sector 16B, April 2025. More than 200 people fell ill. The overhead tank had last been cleaned "probably last September" and the groundwater tank wasn't properly covered. GNIDA fined the society ₹25 lakh for not cleaning its tanks properly.
  • GNIDA, January 2026. After a separate scare elsewhere in Greater Noida, the Authority said builders and apartment associations must clean reservoirs regularly, test samples and submit reports.

Supply is also mixed. In March 2025, Sectors 2, 4 and 16C were still waiting for a Ganga water connection, and a 2023 groundwater survey found borewells in 41 of 63 projects checked here. More groundwater means more silt, so every 3 to 6 months is a sensible gap between cleans.

What to ask your facility desk: the last cleaning date for each tank, photos, and the latest water test report. Tank cleaning removes sludge, slime and scale; it doesn't fix contamination in the pipes or a supply problem. For AOAs: tank cleaning for Noida Extension societies

Basements after the rain

Most Noida Extension towers stand over basement car parks, and some of those basements take in water. In July 2026, after about 20 hours of rain, Eco Village-1 residents reported water in the basement parking and seepage from the basement ceiling. In September 2024, health officials fined Ecovillage 2 ₹10,000 after finding mosquito larvae in stagnant basement water.

Standing water in a basement or sump breeds mosquitoes within a week, and they ride the lifts and stairwells up. Basements are the AOA's responsibility, so report pooled water to the facility desk and ask for anti-larval treatment. Inside your flat, mosquito control for a 2BHK costs ₹1,599 and covers balconies, AC trays and planters.

Keys after a long wait

Many Greater Noida West buyers got their registry or keys years late, after the state's December 2023 package for stalled projects. A flat that stood empty that long holds cement dust, paint spots and dead insects, and its kitchen may not have been opened since the builder's handover.

Our advice for a long-awaited flat: clean it empty, treat it for pests before the furniture arrives, and ask the AOA when the tower's tanks were last cleaned. For prices and the room-by-room checklist, see move-in cleaning for Noida Extension flats. An empty 2BHK costs ₹4,199; a flat in heavy condition after years shut is priced 25% higher, confirmed from photos before the visit.

No metro reaches the belt yet; the Aqua Line extension from Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V has been approved, so our teams come by road from New Delhi.

Noida Extension: your questions

Is Noida Extension the same as Greater Noida?
Both come under GNIDA, but Noida Extension (Greater Noida West) is the high-rise belt around Gaur City, while Greater Noida's lettered sectors are mostly plotted houses. We cover both.
Do you cover Gaur City, Ecovillage and Sector 16B?
Yes, and every other society in the belt. Share the society, tower and flat number for the gate pass.
Our AOA hasn't cleaned the tanks in months. What can I do?
Ask the facility desk for the last cleaning date, photos and test report, which GNIDA expects. We can survey the tanks free and quote the AOA tank by tank.
There's water in our basement. Is that a mosquito risk?
Yes, if it stands for a week. Report it to the AOA for anti-larval treatment, and keep your own balcony and AC trays dry.
How soon can you reach Greater Noida West?
Book before 12 pm and we can usually send a team the same day from New Delhi, once your society approves the visit.
Gaur City mein deep cleaning ka kitna lagega?
Furnished 2BHK ka ₹4,199 aur 3BHK ka ₹5,199, GST ke saath. Society ke work hours bata dijiye, team subah shuru karegi.
