Water in Sector 150

The Noida Authority supplies each society's reservoir, and from there the AOA or the builder's maintenance agency runs the tanks and pumps. Some of Sector 150's societies have waited years for piped Ganga water. ATS Pristine's residents got their Gangajal connection on 8 July 2024, after a two-year struggle in which the AOA collected money and paid the Authority. Expressway sectors including this one have also reported supply problems in summer.

What it means for your tanks. Where a society runs partly on borewell or tanker water, more silt and scale settle in its reservoirs, so cleaning every 3 to 6 months is safer than once a year. Ask your facility desk which source feeds your tower and when the tanks were last cleaned. Tank cleaning removes what has settled; it doesn't fix a short supply or change the quality of the water arriving.

Living in Noida's green sector

Under Noida's Master Plan 2031, most of Sector 150's roughly 600 acres is green or open space, including about 42 acres of parks; the figures differ a little between sources, but the effect is the same. Plenty of green outside means more insects inside.

Wasps and bees. High balconies and window ledges that face open land are good nesting spots. Don't knock a nest down yourself. We remove a hive for ₹1,499, in protective kit, and tell you where it's likely to come back.
Ants. Ground-floor flats and duplexes beside lawns get trails at the garden door and along skirting. Ant control for a 3BHK costs ₹1,249 and treats the trail and the entry points.
Birds. Pigeons settle on AC ledges and balcony corners. Netting costs ₹15–45 a sq ft, with a minimum of ₹2,499; ask your AOA first if the net goes outside the balcony line.
Mosquitoes. Parks hold water after rain in places nobody checks. Inside your home, check planter trays and AC drip trays every week.

A planned Sports City and cricket stadium are part of the sector's future. Their timing isn't settled, so we don't plan around them.

Where the Yamuna meets the Hindon

Sector 150 sits at the confluence of the Yamuna and the Hindon. In September 2025, when the Yamuna ran 0.40 m below the danger mark at Okhla, farmhouses in the Sector 150 and 151 flood zone were submerged, and the Noida Authority set up its relief site at the Sector 150 Yamuna Pushta.

Water that lies in open land for days after a flood or a heavy monsoon breeds mosquitoes, and the nearest towers get them first. After the rains, empty anything that holds water on your balcony, ask the facility desk about standing water in basements and sumps, and book a mosquito treatment for your home if bites keep you up. Sector 150: your questions

There's a wasp nest on our balcony. Can you remove it the same day?

Usually, if you book before 12 pm and a slot is free. Keep the balcony door shut and don't spray the nest yourself; it scatters the wasps.

Do you cover ATS Pristine, Le Grandiose and the ACE projects?

Yes, and every other society in Sector 150. Share the tower and flat number so we can arrange the gate pass.

Our society only recently got Ganga water. Should the tanks be cleaned?

Yes. Silt from earlier borewell or tanker water stays in the reservoir until it's cleaned out. The AOA or maintenance agency books it; we survey free.

Is Sector 150 worse for mosquitoes because of the rivers?

No count shows more dengue here. But water left on open land after floods and heavy rain breeds mosquitoes, so the weeks after the monsoon need extra care.

How soon can you reach Sector 150?
