Wish Town is bigger than Sector 128: the township also runs through Sectors 129, 131, 133, 134 and 151. The developer said in July 2026 that 84 towers with 7,913 flats are complete and that occupancy certificates cover 42 of them, with applications in for 26 more, so flats here are still changing hands and getting their first residents.

Water in Sector 128: from tubewell to Ganga supply

For years Wish Town ran on tubewell water. In an order dated 11 September 2025, the Allahabad High Court noted that residents "are presently using tubewell water, which is not optimum for various purposes" and ordered a piped, treated Ganga supply. In July 2026 the developer said Ganga water is now available in Sectors 128, 129, 131, 133 and 134.

What it means for your tanks. Years of groundwater leave silt on sump floors and scale on tank walls, and a change of source doesn't wash them out. Clean the sump and roof tank once the new supply is flowing, then keep to every 6 months; if your tower or villa is still partly on borewell water, every 3 to 6 months. A clean removes what has settled. It doesn't change the water that arrives, so check with the maintenance office which source feeds your block.

Villas and towers in one township

A Pelican Villas home and a Kosmos flat are a few minutes apart but need different visits.

For a villa, termite care matters most: wooden doors, frames and floors sit close to garden soil. The floodplain edge after the monsoon

The Yamuna floodplain lies to the west and south of Sector 128. When the river rose in September 2025, flooding reached low-lying land and farmhouses in Sectors 126, 128, 135 and 167; the towers themselves were not the story. Water that stands on open ground for days breeds mosquitoes, and they fly into homes nearby.
