Restaurant and dhaba pest control in Ghaziabad, before a video does the talking.
In September 2026 a customer's cockroach video was reported to have brought food safety officers to a Ghaziabad dhaba and shut its kitchen until it was put right. We treat highway dhabas and the restaurants of RDC, Indirapuram and Kaushambi zone by zone, even where the tandoor never really goes cold, and leave a dated record of what was done.

Quick answer
AHC handles pest control for dhabas, restaurants, cafés and food-court outlets across Ghaziabad, from our New Delhi office. A senior technician audits the site free, including outdoor seating and the land behind it; then you get a written plan that splits the kitchen into zones where it never fully closes, and a fixed price billed quarterly in advance with a GST invoice (treatment from ₹1–2 per sq ft per service, minimum 800 sq ft). Every visit leaves a dated report, chemical log and station map. Under the Make-It-Right Promise, give the treatment 2–4 weeks to work; if pests are still active after that, call or WhatsApp us and we revisit free.Ghaziabad food sites and their pests
| Site | What makes it different | What we usually find | What we do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Highway dhabas (NH-9, the Delhi–Meerut road) | Open sides, outdoor seating, fields or vacant land behind | Flies all day, rats from open ground, cockroaches at the tandoor base and water drums | Zone-by-zone gel and drain work, perimeter stations, fly control at seating |
| District-centre restaurants (RDC Raj Nagar, mall dining) | Many outlets in one complex, shared garbage points | Cockroaches via shared ducts, rats at the waste yard | Per-outlet treatment, stations at shared waste points, report per outlet |
| Dining floors in Indirapuram and Ahinsa Khand | Restaurants stacked on upper floors of commercial blocks | Pests in risers and service lifts | Riser and lift-lobby points, after-close gel |
| Hotel restaurants and rooftops (Kaushambi) | Rooftop seating, water tanks on the roof | Mosquito breeding, pigeons, flies | Breeding checks, bird netting quotes, fogging after closing |

Who checks a Ghaziabad kitchen
| Who | What they do | What we know from 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| UP Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA), Ghaziabad district office | Inspections and licence action under FSSAI | News reports in late September 2026 said the FSDA found food safety and hygiene violations at eateries in five districts, Ghaziabad among them, and recommended licence suspension for seven outlets across those districts. |
| Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) | A municipal corporation since 31 August 1994; issues annual licences to hotels, lodges and shops | Check with GMC whether your restaurant's category needs its licence. |
| District health teams ("Dastak" drive) | Dengue larvae checks door to door | A first find brings a warning; larvae found again after 15 days bring a notice. |

Dhabas: open sides, long hours
A dhaba breaks most of the assumptions a restaurant pest plan rests on. It has no back wall to seal, the kitchen may run from early morning to past midnight, and the seating sits under a canopy next to open ground. So the plan changes:
- Zones, not closing time. We split the site into tandoor and cooking line, prep and wash area, store, and seating, and treat each in its own quiet window, often around dawn.
- Perimeter first. Rats come from the land behind. Numbered stations go along the boundary and at the store, away from food and from where animals or children can reach them.
- Water drums and wash points. Covered drums, a raised wash area and drained puddles take away what cockroaches and mosquitoes need.
- Fly control at seating. Fly units, placed away from food prep, and bins with lids at every table cluster.
Kitchen staff clear and cover food, utensils and tandoor tools before each zone is treated; our team never handles them.
The first 48 hours after a complaint
If a customer posts a video of a pest at your outlet, a fast, documented response is what you control. A plan that works:
- Same day: message us the video and the exact spot. Clean and close off that area.
- At the earliest slot: we treat the affected zone and the routes leading to it, and photograph what we find. Same-day visits are often possible when you message before 12 pm.
- Next day: we send a dated report saying what was treated, what was found and which fixes are pending.
- That week: fix the gaps on the list, such as a broken drain cover or an open store sack, and send us photos so they go in the file.
This puts a written record in your hands if an officer visits. It cannot decide what the officer finds or decides.
Rooftops, bins and visitors
Rooftop seating in Raj Nagar and Kaushambi brings its own visitors. Monkeys were reported around the RDC area in September 2026, and pigeons settle on ventilators and tank rooms across the city. AHC doesn't catch monkeys. What we can do is cut what draws them in: lidded bins, no food waste left on the roof, and bird netting over ventilators and shafts where pigeons roost. The same roof walk covers mosquito breeding in planters, coolers and tank overflows before the Dastak teams come round.

Records you hold
After every visit: a dated report, a chemical log with CIB&RC numbers and the station map. For Ghaziabad dhabas we split the report by zone, so it shows each area was treated even though the kitchen never shut. Complaint call-outs get their own dated entry. The full list for businesses is on the industries page.
