This page explains the people behind that, the sources we accept and refuse, where AI fits in, and how to tell us about a mistake. It covers the blog, the service and city pages, the price list and the plans pages.
Who writes and who checks
Three roles touch every page before it's published. One person can't fill more than one role on the same page.
| Role | What they do | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Writer | Researches the question, drafts the page, lists sources | AHC's team; research and drafts may be prepared with AI assistance |
| Technical reviewer | Checks pest biology, treatment methods, products, doses and safety advice against labels and job practice | AHC's pest control team |
| Service reviewer | Checks cleaning and tank methods, timings and what is or isn't included against how our crews actually work | AHC's cleaning and tank team |
| Final approval | Checks prices, promises and warranty wording against the price book and terms, and approves publishing | AHC's team |

What counts as a source
We use sources in this order, and say which one a fact came from:
- Government and regulators: the Insecticides Act and Rules and CIB&RC lists, FSSAI, municipal corporations, health departments and the Delhi Jal Board, with the document's date.
- Standards: Bureau of Indian Standards codes such as IS 6313 for anti-termite work, named with the part and year.
- Research and university extension services: peer-reviewed papers and extension publications (for example the University of California's integrated pest management notes), with the publication or update date.
- News reports: only dated reports from established outlets, used for what happened and when, never as a source for how a treatment works.
- Our own work: what our technicians and crews see on jobs across Delhi NCR, described as our experience, never as a statistic. Job examples are real jobs, shared with the customer's permission.
What we don't use: competitors' claims, forum posts presented as fact, figures with no traceable source, or numbers produced by an AI tool. If we can't find a source we trust for a claim, we leave the claim out.
Sources go at the end of each guide, and under each table they support.
How prices and facts are checked
- Prices on every page are pulled from one place, our live price book, so a guide can never show a different price from the price list. They include 18% GST, and the price list shows the date they were last updated.
- Promises and warranties are checked word for word against our terms and the warranty page before publishing.
- Products and safety advice are checked against the product label, not against memory or another website.
- Numbers about AHC are limited to what we can show: our founding year, families served, and our rating on Google, Justdial and MagicPin with the month it was checked.
- Before a page goes live, the reviewer reads it in full and either approves it or sends it back with changes; the approval and date are recorded.
How we use AI
Research and drafts may be prepared with AI assistance: gathering sources to read, outlining a guide, and suggesting wording. AI doesn't decide what we say. Every page is checked against its sources and approved by AHC's team before it is published, every price comes from our price book rather than from an AI tool, and no review, photo, person or job on this site is AI-generated.
If you spot something that reads wrong, tell us; that is exactly what the corrections process below is for.
Our interest in what we write about
AHC sells pest control, cleaning, water tank cleaning and yearly plans, and our guides are about the same things. We think you should know that, so here is how we keep it in check:
- No paid placements. No product, brand or company pays to be mentioned, linked or recommended on our site, and we don't use affiliate links.
- Honest limits. Our guides say when a treatment won't fix a problem, when a cheaper option or a do-it-yourself step is enough, and when a job needs someone other than us, such as a plumber, an electrician or a doctor.
- Prices shown in full, including GST, so a guide never makes a service look cheaper than it is.
- No invented proof. We don't write reviews, testimonials or case studies ourselves. Our reviews stay on Google, Justdial and MagicPin, where customers posted them, and job stories are real jobs. Customer Reviews → Recent Jobs and Case Studies →
Our guides are general information about homes in Delhi NCR. They are not medical advice; if someone may have been exposed to a chemical, see a doctor and show them the product label.
How often pages are reviewed
| Page type | Reviewed | Trigger for an earlier review |
|---|---|---|
| Price list, plans, every page with a price | Whenever the price book changes | A price, pack or GST rate changes |
| Seasonal guides (dengue, Diwali, summer tanks, monsoon termites) | Before each season | A new government advisory or rule for that season |
| Service and city pages | Regularly | A change in method, product, team size or warranty |
| Other guides | Regularly | A source is updated or a reader reports an error |
| Licence and products page | When a licence is renewed or a product changes | Any change of product in stock |

Each page shows "Last reviewed" with the date. We change that date only when someone has actually re-checked the page, not for a typo fix.
Source: AHC blog plan (seasonal timing: dengue checklist July to October, Diwali checklist until early November, tank guide before April, termite guide before March); AHC price list (prices last updated 6 Oct 2026).

- Small fixes, like a typo or a broken link, are corrected without a note.
