Quick answer
A Diwali deep clean with AHC costs the same as our home deep clean all year: ₹4,199 for a furnished 2BHK including GST, from ₹2,799 for a 1RK, with 5BHK and larger homes from ₹9,999. A 2BHK takes 5 to 7 hours. The team degreases the kitchen, descales the bathrooms, cleans fans, lights, doors, windows, grills and switchboards in every room, and machine-scrubs the floors; cabinet insides, sofa shampoo and curtain steaming can be added. We suggest booking two to three weeks before the festival.Diwali deep cleaning prices

Select kitchen cabinets & appliances
How is appliance cleaning done?
We switch the appliance off, take out the removable trays, shelves and filters, wash them, degrease and wipe the inside and outside with food-safe cleaners, dry everything and fit it back. Please empty the fridge and the cabinets before we arrive; we never open motors or wiring (a chimney motor and duct service is booked separately).
Select sofa & mattress
How are sofas and mattresses cleaned?
Dry vacuuming of sofas is part of every deep clean. Wet shampoo goes deeper: we vacuum, apply a fabric-safe shampoo, work it in with a brush and pull the dirty water out with an extraction machine. Mattresses get the same treatment on the sleeping side. Keep the fan on and allow about 4 to 6 hours to dry.

When to book your Diwali clean
Each deep clean takes a team most of a day, so there's a fixed number of slots before the festival. Booking early gives you the widest choice of dates.
| When you book | What you'll get |
|---|---|
| 4 or more weeks before | The widest choice of dates |
| 2 to 3 weeks before | A good choice of dates; tell us if you need a weekend |
| The last week | Whatever is still open; a Home Refresh or a single kitchen or bathroom clean is easier to fit in |

Tip: book the deep clean 7 to 10 days before Diwali, then hang the lights and do the rangoli after. Dust from hanging lights and moving furniture lands on a clean home otherwise.

The mandir, walls and marble: how we handle them
- The mandir: we clean the shelf, the area around it and the floor only with your permission. Idols, photos and puja items are moved and put back by you; we don't handle them.
- Head-oil marks and handprints on walls: washable emulsion usually cleans well; distemper and matt paint can patch, so we test a hidden spot first and tell you what to expect
- Marble floors and slabs: pH-neutral cleaner only. Acids such as vinegar and lemon etch marble permanently
- Brass, silver and copper: we don't polish metal items
How it works
- Book your slot with your home size, furnished or empty, and add-ons. Fixed price including GST and a morning start, in writing.
- Get ready: pack utensils, food and fragile decor away; empty any cabinets you've added; move idols and puja items if the mandir is to be cleaned.
- Kitchen and bathrooms first, then every room ceiling to floor, then the floors.
- Walk-through and photos. Missed something? Send photos within 24 hours and we redo it free, before the festival.
After the clean: let the floors dry, keep the fan on if you added sofa shampoo, and put up lights and decorations after the team leaves.
After Diwali: diya oil, wax and cracker residue
The days after Diwali leave their own mess: oil rings from diyas on floors and ledges, candle wax on balconies and the entrance, cracker residue on terraces and grills, and sweet-box crumbs in the kitchen. A Home Refresh with a balcony deep clean handles most of it (Home Cleaning (Home Refresh)); we scrape wax before cleaning so it doesn't smear, and degrease oil rings on stone with a neutral cleaner. Pest control after the festival catches the cockroaches and ants that sweets and boxes bring in (General Pest Control).
