Any month of the year
Some jobs don't follow the seasons.
- Bed bugs arrive with a suitcase, a hostel stay or a second-hand bed, in any month. Unpack on a hard floor after a trip and wash travel clothes hot. Bed Bug Control →
- Cockroaches in towers move between flats through kitchen and bathroom shafts all year, which is why treatment every three months works better than one visit a year. General Pest Control →
- Wood borer larvae tunnel inside furniture for months before the holes and powder appear; book a free inspection whenever you see fresh powder. Wood Borer Treatment →
- Bee hives can return to the same ledge in the same season; send a photo whenever one appears. Honey Bee & Wasp Hive Removal →
- Bird nets take a beating from sun, wind and monsoon storms; check the edges after every storm. Bird Control & Netting →
Pest calendar questions
Which month do termites come in Delhi?
Winged termites swarm after the first rains, and termite activity rises through the monsoon, July to September. Piles of identical wings near windows or lights after rain are the sign to look for. Book an inspection before the rains if you saw wings or mud tubes last year.
When is dengue season in Delhi NCR?
Mosquito numbers climb from July as the monsoon fills coolers and pots. Dengue cases rise from late August, peak in September and October, and carry on into November. Book mosquito control in mid to late August, and keep emptying standing water every week.
Which month are cockroaches worst?
Summer. In towers they also move between flats through shafts and drains all year, so a treatment every three months keeps them down better than a single visit.
When do rats come into the house?
Mostly in winter, from December to February, looking for warmth and food. They get in through kitchen ducts, drains and gaps under doors, so close those as well as booking rat control.
When is the best time to clean the water tank?
April, before summer heat speeds up algae, and September, after the monsoon washes silt into the supply. Tanks topped up with tanker water need cleaning about every 3 months. How often to clean your tank →
Is pest control in the monsoon a good idea?
Yes, for the pests the monsoon brings: termites, houseflies, silverfish and mosquitoes. Indoor treatment goes ahead as normal; soil treatment isn't done in rain or on waterlogged ground, and outdoor fogging waits for a dry, still evening.
Kaun se mahine mein kaunsa keeda zyada hota hai?
Garmi mein cockroach aur cheenti, baarish (July se September) mein deemak, makkhi aur silverfish, August ke end se November tak dengue ke machhar, aur sardi (December se February) mein chuhe ghar ke andar aate hain.
