Office pest control in Delhi
Delhi's draft dengue action plan expects every government and private office to name someone responsible for keeping its premises free of mosquito breeding, and in July 2023 the government announced a fine for commercial premises five times the one for homes. AHC checks the corners offices forget, treats pantries, ceilings and basements after hours, and hands over a dated report each time we leave.

Quick answer
AHC runs office pest control contracts across Delhi and New Delhi, from one suite in a district centre to a full floor in Aerocity. After a free audit we come in the evening or on a Sunday to bait the pantry and washrooms, station the ceiling voids and basement, and, from June to November, check every place where water stands. Rates run ₹1–2 per sq ft per service (minimum 800 sq ft), billed quarterly in advance with a GST invoice. Each visit leaves a service report, a chemical log and a page listing the breeding points found and treated. Give each treatment 2–4 weeks to work; if pests are still active after that, call or WhatsApp us and we revisit free under our Make-It-Right Promise.Delhi office sites and what goes wrong in each
| Site | What tends to go wrong | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Suite in an older district centre (Nehru Place, Bhikaji Cama Place, Rajendra Place) | Many owners per building; cockroaches up shared shafts and stairwells; old wooden partitions | Gel inside your suite, a termite check on woodwork, common-area entry points listed for the association |
| New Grade A floor (Aerocity, Netaji Subhash Place, Gateway District) | Deep false ceilings, raised floors, a food court below, a facility team with approval steps | Station map agreed with the facility team, voids monitored, pantry baited, labels sent ahead |
| Flex or coworking centre | Pantries open all day, food left in lockers, no hour when the floor is empty | A fixed treatment order for the quietest slot; see our coworking section |
| Bank or NBFC branch | Paper stored for years, wooden fittings, street-level entry | A record-room visit each quarter; see bank branches and record rooms |
| Basement, terrace and service yard | Rainwater in AC trays, sumps, terrace tanks and planters; rats at the garbage point | Larvicide where water stands, outer bait stations, each point in the report |

What Delhi's dengue rules ask of an office
Delhi's draft plan names offices directly. The draft Dengue Action Plan reported in May 2025 says: "All government and private offices, including hospitals, will be required to appoint a nodal officer" to keep their premises free of breeding. It proposes higher penalties under the amended Section 428 of the DMC Act, 1957, and, in the report's words, "The draft does not mention the proposed fine amount." It is a draft; we haven't seen a final notification.

Two years earlier, in July 2023, the Delhi government announced that breeding found at commercial premises would draw a ₹5,000 fine, "up to 10 times" the old amount, while the fine for homes went to ₹1,000. The report names no law, so check the current figure with your MCD or NDMC zone office.

Between 1 January and mid-June 2026 the MCD served 34,480 legal notices and started 3,926 prosecutions against "residents and establishments". By 3 October 2026 Delhi had 695 dengue cases. The MCD lists "government offices" among the high-risk sites it inspects, and in a 2019 South Delhi drive, office complexes were 16 per cent of the premises where breeding turned up.

The MCD Public Health Department checks most of Delhi; the NDMC covers Connaught Place and the Lutyens area. Neither rule names a pest control company: they ask the office to keep water from breeding mosquitoes. Our monsoon visits find and treat those spots and write them down; the inspection result stays the inspector's call.
Fifty-year-old district centres, brand-new towers
Delhi's office stock comes in two ages. Nehru Place, built by the Delhi Development Authority as a district centre, was completed in 1972. Then CBRE describes "nearly a decade of limited new supply", ending now: about 5 million sq ft of new offices is expected between 2025 and 2027, "concentrated in four major districts: Netaji Subhash Place, Rohini, Gateway District, and Aerocity". JLL credited Delhi's secondary business districts with 28 per cent of NCR's new Grade A office completions in 2025, Aerocity among them.
In an older building, you control your suite and nothing else. Cockroaches and rats arrive from the shop downstairs or the office next door, so the plan seals your own perimeter (pipe gaps, the door bottom, cable cut-outs), treats monthly and checks wooden fittings for termites and borers.
In a new tower, the cheapest moment is before your team moves in, while ceiling tiles are out and the raised floor is open: we mark entry points, fix stations in the voids and agree the map with the facility team.

Who rents Delhi's offices, and what that changes
In January to June 2025, research, consulting and analytics firms took 39 per cent of Delhi's office leasing, flexible space operators 23 per cent and banking and financial firms 18 per cent, CBRE found.
- Consultancies hold client meetings all day, so we bait out of sight and visit when the rooms are empty.
- Flex operators run many pantries per floor and need a visit order that misses no tea point.
- Banks and finance firms keep files, so the record room and its wooden racks go on the schedule.

A monsoon checklist for your nodal officer
Between our visits, someone in the office should walk these spots weekly from June to November; standing water in Delhi keeps breeding mosquitoes into November.
- AC drip trays and the pipes that feed them
- The basement sump and any pit with a loose cover
- Terrace tanks, their lids and the overflow pipe
- Planters, saucers and the reception's water feature
- The guard room's desert cooler
Empty or cover what you can; the rest gets larvicide at our next visit.
What a Delhi office contract covers
| Service | Where | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Breeding check and larvicide | AC trays, sumps, terrace tanks, planters, coolers | Every two weeks June to November, monthly the rest of the year |
| Gel and crack-and-crevice treatment | Pantry, tea points, washrooms, pipe shafts inside your suite | Monthly |
| Rodent stations and traps | Basement, ceiling voids, the garbage point, outside electrical rooms | Station check monthly |
| Termite and wood borer inspection | Partitions, door frames, wooden racks in older buildings | Quarterly; treatment quoted if found |
| Thermal fogging | Open yards, parking and lawns where the building permits | On request in the monsoon |
| Bird netting or spikes | AC ledges and light wells | Once, measured on site |

Treat these frequencies as starting points; the audit sets the real schedule. Services can be added mid-year at the contract rates, and the contract ends on 30 days' notice. For dust and washrooms, book office cleaning in Delhi separately; for disinfection, see sanitization in Delhi.
Records you get
After each visit you get a service report with photos, a chemical log listing each product's CIB&RC registration number, and the bait-station map. Delhi offices also get a breeding-check page: date, every spot checked, whether larvae were found, what we did, and a photo. Keep it in the file your nodal officer holds. The full list of business records is on our industries page.
