Quick answer

Post-construction cleaning with AHC is priced at the home deep-clean rate plus 25%, including GST: about ₹5,199 for a 2BHK, empty or furnished, or a fixed quote from photos. The team vacuums the dust first so it doesn't turn to mud, scrapes off cement splashes and paint drops with flat blades, removes putty, tile haze and stickers with the right solvent, then cleans every room ceiling to floor and machine-scrubs the floors. Book it after the last painting and carpentry are finished, so the dust doesn't come back.

Tile installers advise removing grout haze within about 48 hours of grouting, before it bonds to the tile; ask your contractor to wipe it, and we'll remove what's left.

Sources: Tile Warehouse, "Grout Haze" (easiest to remove within 48 hours; harder on lappato tiles); Houzz India, citing the Marble Institute, on acids and marble.

What a post-construction clean covers

  • Dust first: every surface vacuumed, including window and sliding-door tracks, wardrobe and kitchen drawers, AC vents and fan tops
  • Ceiling to floor: fans, lights, switchboards (dry), doors and frames, windows and grills, skirting
  • Kitchen: cabinets inside and out, slab, tiles, sink and fittings, stickers off appliances
  • Bathrooms: tiles, fittings, sanitaryware, glass, all with cement and paint marks removed, and descaled
  • Glass: windows and partitions scraped clean of paint and cement, then polished
  • Floors: marks scraped off, then machine-scrubbed, twice where the dust is heavy
  • Balconies and the entrance

After renovation at home

Renovating one room or the whole flat while you live in it means the dust gets into the rooms nobody worked on too. Book the clean once the last coat of paint is dry and the carpenters are done; cleaning earlier only gets dusty again. Tell us which rooms were worked on: those get the heavy clean, and the rest a deep clean, priced room by room.

If the work was in the kitchen or bathrooms, book pest control at the same time: cockroaches move in through new gaps around pipes and fresh cabinet joints. Cockroach Control →

How it works

  1. Send photos of the floors, glass, kitchen and bathrooms on WhatsApp, with the home size and city.
  2. Fixed price including GST, in writing; very heavy or large jobs after a free visit.
  3. Dust first: vacuum every surface and track.
  4. Marks next: scrape and solvent-clean cement, paint, putty and stickers.
  5. Clean ceiling to floor, kitchen and bathrooms descaled.
  6. Floors machine-scrubbed, then a walk-through and photos. Missed something? Tell us within 24 hours and we redo it free.

Before we arrive: debris and leftover material removed; water and power on; painting and carpentry finished; tell us the floor type (vitrified, marble, Kota, wood).

After the clean: keep windows open for a day to clear the last of the paint smell; let floors dry before furniture goes in.

Safety: fine construction dust can contain silica, so our team wears masks and vacuums before wiping. Blades are held flat on glass and glazed tiles to avoid scratches. Solvents are used with the windows open, and never on marble.

Post-construction cleaning: your questions

How much does cleaning after renovation cost?
The home deep-clean price plus 25%, including GST: about ₹5,199 for a 2BHK, empty or furnished. Send photos and we'll confirm a fixed price.
Can cement be removed from tiles?
Usually yes. Splashes on vitrified and ceramic tiles are softened and lifted with a flat blade and a tile-safe cleaner. On marble or Kota stone we don't use acid, so marks may only lighten.
Can paint drops be removed from floors and glass?
Yes, in most cases. Emulsion paint scrapes off easily; enamel paint takes longer and may leave a faint mark.
When should I book?
After the last painting and carpentry are finished and the debris is removed, a few days before you move back in.
Do you remove construction debris?
No. Rubble and leftover material are your contractor's job. We clean once they're out.
How long does it take?
Longer than a normal deep clean: a 2BHK takes most of a day.
