Deep cleaning is not the same job as a weekly or monthly home cleaning. It means every room gets attention, ceiling to floor: window tracks, fan blades, grout lines and the kind of grease and buildup a regular clean does not reach, with cabinet and appliance interiors available as add-ons. Because it takes longer and uses more products, it is priced differently from a quick refresh. Here is what it costs in Delhi NCR by home size, and what changes the number.

Deep cleaning prices by home size

A furnished 2BHK comes to ₹4,199, while the same home empty is priced lower because there is no furniture to move around or work under. Empty-home pricing is meant for move-in and move-out situations, where the flat is bare and access to every surface is easy.

Furnished vs empty homes

A furnished home takes longer to clean properly. The team has to work around sofas, beds, almirahs and dining tables, lift and replace items carefully, and clean the floor and skirting underneath. An empty home skips all of that, which is why the empty-home rate is lower across every size from 1RK to 5BHK.

If you are moving into a new flat, book the empty-home rate before your furniture arrives. If you are cleaning a home you currently live in, the furnished rate applies.

The heavy clean surcharge

Some homes need more than a standard deep clean. A flat that has not been cleaned in over a year, or one that has just been through renovation with paint splashes, cement dust and construction debris on every surface, takes meaningfully longer and needs extra scrubbing and degreasing. These are priced at a 25% surcharge over the standard rate for your home size.

Signs you likely need the heavy rate rather than the standard one:

• Visible paint drips or putty dust on floors, switchboards or window frames
• A kitchen with a thick layer of old grease on the chimney, tiles and cabinet fronts
• Bathrooms with hard water staining that has built up over a long period
• The home has not had any professional cleaning in the last 12 months

What is covered, room by room

A whole-home deep clean works through every room with a set routine rather than a quick wipe-down.

• Bedrooms: dusting of all surfaces, wardrobe exteriors, fan blades, window tracks and grills, switchboards, floor and skirting, door frames.
• Living and dining areas: sofa exteriors, TV unit and shelves, fan blades, light fixtures within reach, window tracks, floor and skirting.
• Kitchen: cabinet exteriors and the stove, countertop and backsplash, sink and taps, the chimney's outer surface, the exhaust fan and the floor, including grease buildup around the cooking area.
• Bathrooms: tiles, fittings, commode, wash basin, mirror, exhaust fan, and hard-water stains on taps and glass.
• Balcony: floor, railing, grill and glass where accessible.

Cleaning inside the kitchen cabinets, the fridge, microwave, oven or chimney, and wet shampoo for sofas and mattresses are add-ons you can book on the same visit, each at a fixed price.

Kitchen and bathroom add-ons

If you only want the kitchen or bathrooms done, rather than the whole home, standalone options are available:

Kitchen deep cleaning covers cabinet exteriors, tops and lofts, and oil and grease on tiles and slab, with a slightly higher price for large L-shaped or U-shaped kitchens that have more cabinet and counter area. A smaller Kitchen Refresh option covers the slab, tiles, stove, sink, exhaust and cabinet fronts without the deeper degreasing of tops and lofts, at a lower price.

Bathroom deep cleaning is priced by the number of bathrooms, with each additional bathroom beyond the first few added at a fixed rate per bathroom. This covers tiles, fittings and hard-water stains, which are usually the hardest part of a bathroom to get right without the correct descaling approach.

Planning your clean

A few practical points before booking:

• Put away loose items on counters and shelves. If you have added cleaning inside the kitchen cabinets, empty those cabinets before the team arrives.
• If you want the heavy or empty-home rate, mention it when booking so the right time is scheduled, since these jobs take longer than a standard clean.
• Festive-season slots, especially in the weeks before Diwali, fill up early. Booking a couple of weeks ahead gives you a wider choice of dates.
• If your home also needs pest control, pairing it with a deep clean on the same visit, or around the same time, means cabinets are open and accessible for both jobs rather than twice.
